{"id":629415,"date":"2010-01-13T10:40:28","date_gmt":"2010-01-13T15:40:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/?p=88568"},"modified":"2010-01-13T10:40:28","modified_gmt":"2010-01-13T15:40:28","slug":"%e2%80%9cspider-man%e2%80%9d-broadway-musical-tickets-refunded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/629415","title":{"rendered":"\u201cSpider-Man\u201d Broadway Musical Tickets Refunded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Producers of the <em>Spider-Man<\/em> Broadway musical are offering ticket refunds, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtv.com\/movies\/news\/articles\/1629572\/story.jhtml\">MTV News<\/a> said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/spider-man1-500x580.jpg?resize=500%2C580\" alt=\"\" title=\"spider-man1\" width=\"500\" height=\"580\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-50781\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The most recent in a series of delays in bringing <em>Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark<\/em> to the New York stage has prompted show producers to offer refunds to fans who had purchased tickets for performances.<\/p>\n<p>The show &#8212; like the latest edition of the film franchise &#8212; has been postponed indefinitely. Previews, which were expected to start Feb. 25., have been cancelled. The production &#8220;is moving forward,&#8221; but a revised scheduled, along with an opening date later this year, will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-88568\"><\/span><br \/>\nIn the meantime, ticketholders can request an immediate refund from Ticketmaster or wait to exchange them for another date when the new performance schedule is announced. <\/p>\n<p>The <em>Spider-Man<\/em> Musical will be directed by Julie Taymor and features a score by Bono and The Edge of U2. This isn&#8217;t the first drawback for the musical, work was stalled on the musical last summer because of financial difficulties.
