The Network for Women has cancelled <em>Rita Rocks<\/em> &#8212; a quirky comedy featuring Nicole Sullivan &#8212; after two seasons, The Hollywood Reporter said Monday.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Rita-Rocks-Cancelled-500x400.jpg?resize=500%2C400\" alt=\"\" title=\"Rita Rocks Cancelled\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-88328\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Rita<\/em>, which starred the <em>Mad TV<\/em> alum as a mom who launches her own garage band, premiered to solid ratings in Oct. 2008, with 1 million viewers tuning in for the show&#8217;s debut episode. It was Lifetime&#8217;s first original comedy series in over 10 years.
