{"id":625873,"date":"2010-01-09T13:23:54","date_gmt":"2010-01-09T18:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.skyscrapercity.com\/showthread.php?t=1041687"},"modified":"2010-01-09T13:23:54","modified_gmt":"2010-01-09T18:23:54","slug":"city-to-inaugurate-biggest-condo-site-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/625873","title":{"rendered":"City to inaugurate biggest condo site today"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Hayal Alemayehu<\/p>\n<p>The Addis Ababa City Administration will today inaugurate the biggest condominium site built in the city in the presence of ministers, high-ranking government officials and Ambassadors, it was learnt.<\/p>\n<p>\n<b>The site, named Jemo Condominium Site, is a cluster of 10, 064 condominium houses expected to accommodate over 50,000 dwellers<\/b>, the size of a population that outnumber many towns in the country, according to the city officials.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the other condominium sites under construction in various parts of the city and its peripheries, <b>the Jemo site project has a sewerage system stretching 29km around the site, with a 9km passage linking the system to the city\u0092s main sewerage line<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The site has a 6.1km asphalt while there are 52 communal facilities which will serve the dwellers for various functions including abattoirs and laundry.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Jemo site is built in Lideta and Gulelle subcities<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The aerial shots of the event will be taken and transmitted live on the national TV on the day of the inauguration.  <\/p>\n<p>The ceremony will be celebrated at the national level.<\/p>\n<p>The city administration is expected to hand over the condominiums within one year of the inauguration.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Hayal Alemayehu The Addis Ababa City Administration will today inaugurate the biggest condominium site built in the city in the presence of ministers, high-ranking government officials and Ambassadors, it was learnt.
