{"id":617657,"date":"2009-12-31T19:09:59","date_gmt":"2010-01-01T00:09:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/?p=86342"},"modified":"2009-12-31T19:09:59","modified_gmt":"2010-01-01T00:09:59","slug":"%e2%80%9clast-comic-standing%e2%80%9d-returns-to-nbc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/617657","title":{"rendered":"\u201cLast Comic Standing\u201d Returns To NBC?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NBC is in discussions to revive its defunct amateur talent search <em>Last Comic Standing, <a href=\"http:\/\/hollywoodinsider.ew.com\/2009\/12\/30\/exclusive-nbc-in-talks-to-bring-back-last-comic-standing\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em> insiders spilled this week.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Last-Comic-Standing-Returns.jpg?resize=404%2C500\" alt=\"\" title=\"Last Comic Standing Returns\" width=\"404\" height=\"500\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-86343\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-86342\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The reality show, which ran for six seasons between 2003-2008, awarded one stand-up comedian a special on Comedy Central and a development contract with NBC.<\/p>\n<p><em>Last Comic Standing<\/em> will reportedly return alongside <em>America&#8217;s Got Talent<\/em> and <em>Losing It With Jillian<\/em>, a new weight-loss show with <em>The Biggest Loser<\/em> trainer Jillian Michaels, during the Summer of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Telegedy, NBC&#8217;s head of reality programming, plans to revamp the show&#8217;s format and implant a new host in time for the show to air as part of NBC&#8217;s summer lineup.
