At that point we had a very early preview of framework bits with little tools support. A large part of jumpstarting your development actually centers around good tooling. VS2010 brings tooling for RIA Services (now: WCF RIA Services).<\/p>\n<p>Scott Hanselman demonstrated some key features used in building a <a href=\"http:\/\/jeffhandley.com\/archive\/2009\/11\/18\/contososales.aspx\" >Contacts application<\/a> (as shown on the right) during the keynote at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoftpdc.com\" >PDC09<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The latest version of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverlight.net\/getstarted\/riaservices\/\" >RIA Services<\/a> is now available for download. It works on .NET 4 and VS2010 as well.
