WASH programmes teach sanitation habits and expand clean-water access; Ethiopia's One WASH-CWA pooled financing for water delivery, hygiene and resource management.<\/p>\n<p>The World Bank said Ethiopia had made clear gains on water supply and sanitation over the prior decade, yet large gaps remained between urban and rural areas and between regions. One WASH aimed to close those gaps by coordinating federal, regional and local work rather than scattering separate projects.<\/p>\n<p>Related efforts included UNICEF WASH teams and Ethiopia's OpenWASH training materials.
