Ever since June 2017, Addis Abeba Road and Traffic Management Agency has stationed\u00a0traffic volunteers spread across city centers. One can find them especially in large numbers around public squares such as\u00a0Megenagna, Torhailoch, Mesqel Square and Mexico that are largely populated. The agency has been expanding the program ever since. Traffic accidents involving pedestrians have decreased marking the program as a success.
