Ahadu Radio journalist Tamerat Abera went to Sendafa,\u00a0a town and separate woreda located in the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Addis Ababa, to report on a land inheritance debate. According to the protocol, he notified the administration about conducting his work which resulted in him being the focus of the wrong audience.\u00a0 Tamerat allegedly received threats from the woreda’s court president if he intends to release his report. He was arrested moments later since May 24, 2019. Ethio-online Multimedia reporter Getya Yalew went to Sendafa Police Station on May 26 only to be arrested and released a day later.
