It was also soft-power theater on the same China trip that featured debt and e-commerce symbolism.<\/p>\n<p>Under Abiy Ahmed\u2019s modernization brand, a satellite became proof Ethiopia could leap tiers. Ground stations, data access, and civilian oversight decide whether space tech serves the public or only the brochure.<\/p>\n<p>Kept as tech\/space archive, ETRSS-1 marks Ethiopia\u2019s entry ticket into orbital observation. Launch hype is easy.
