Last Saturday, Mereja TV journalist Fasil Aregay and cameraman Habtamu Oda were detained at the police Legetafo police station while reporting on-site where many houses were demolished. After the police released them from detention, they were attacked by an unidentified mob in front of the police station. Before the unfortunate attack, journalist Fasil was reporting the then status of the demolition progress and the displaced families.<\/span><\/p>\n Legetafo Legedadi house demolitions have been a controversial agenda as thousands are homeless. The demolition became a controversy as the real agenda behind this move is perceived as a political move rather than legal procedures.
