It took about eight years for work on the dam to be completed.<\/p>\n<p>Officials project that the dam, which can hold about 62.5 million cubic\u00a0metres of water, will create about 192,000 jobs.<\/p>\n<p>The Gidabo River Dam Project reportedly cost the country more than $35 million.
