The cargo plane was forced to land in Indonesia by fighter jets after entering the country&#8217;s airspace without permission.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesian officials announced the decision to allow the Ethiopian Airlines plane to leave the country this week after a meeting between Air Force and Navy authorities. Officials from the Ethiopian government also met with Indonesian authorities during the week.<\/p>\n<p>Ethiopian Airlines is yet to release a statement about why the plane crossed into Indonesia&#8217;s airspace without permission.
