But it is not just in Ethiopia, the world&#8217;s two commercial coffee species are facing extinction.<\/p>\n<p>A study by Britain&#8217;s Royal Botanic Gardens revealed that\u00a0Arabica and Robusta are in danger and efforts to conserve wild coffee species may not be sufficient.<\/p>\n<p>Africa, particularly Ethiopia, is at risk since it is one of the places on the continent affected the most by climate change.<\/p>\n<p>Ethiopia is the birthplace of Arabica coffee and the largest exporter of the beans. About 15 million people in Ethiopia work on the production and export of coffee.
