Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed continued his national tour today in areas where anti-government uprisings have been witnessed for the past several years.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister arrived in the city of Gondar, northern Ethiopia, a state that, along with Oromia, was the center of civilian uprisings against government corruption, injustice and discrimination. <\/p>\n
After being received at the airport by Gedu Andargachew and other senior officials, Prime Minister Abiy gave a speech at the Gondar Stadium, and held a meeting with a delegation representing Wolqayt. He has reportedly apologized to the delegation for a recent misstatement regarding the forced annexation of Wolqayt land by the Tigray region. <\/p>\n
