The Rise and Fall of EPRDF

Post by Risa » 08 Dec 2018, 12:48

Today, EPRDF exists simply by name not in practice. We have individuals who rule the country in the name of EPRDF, but there is no EPRDF that we know for the past 27 years. As its leaders themselves said, EPRDF was broken like an egg. It doesn’t matter whether it was broken from inside or outside, but EPRDF was broken.

i dont have to listen to anyone. EPRDF aint going nowhere. it is not an option.

shell-shocked tplf is dazed, benefactors are realling from the reality, but reality will sink-in; and that reality is.....TPLF will have to earn every inch of its 80 percent reduced power through its young leadership such as.....(well i forgot his name). 100 percent of the current leadership has to go. no other options.

Tigray can still be at a regional competitive advantage if it beats the rest of the region and establish itself as the financial sector through a stockmarket, which the others are too lazy to digest that nothing in ethiopia will happen without it.

while the region is kissing aby's retarded exhibitionist a$$, tigray can seize the opportunity and make itself an irreversible presence.

EPRDF is like this cow; it "produces" and eat it for itself. The junior members are like this calf, get only the leftover.

gearhead, the pseudo intellectual,

How could TPLF regain 80 percent of its reduced power? Can you tell us more about the magic formula.

First, TPLF is a fanatic ethno nationalist party that committed crimes against humanity. It planned and implemented atrocities and ethnic cleansing as a matter of organizational policy. It should therefore be accountable for such crimes. The current pursuit after its individual members will eventually turn to going after TPLF itself both at the local and international level. Ultimately, TPLF is an extreme ethno nationalist organization that should and will be outlawed and its members persecuted like the Nazi party, fascist party, the KKK, etc.

Second, TPLF claims to represent a population, a region. The population is a minority one as compared to other population groups. Democracy is a system where the majority rules. TPLF currently wields more power than it should normally have. If and when democratic principles are implemented, TPLF will have a lesser voice and even greatly reduced power.

I noticed you are mixing political and economic power when you talked about TPLF or the region it claims to represent as becoming financial powerhouse. If by “recovering its ...reduced power” you meant, economic power, then you are wrong as TPLF has not lost its economic might; not yet.TPLF is still the most powerful group economically. But that shall also crumble sooner as legal actions against corruption gain ground, and its political muscle further weakens.

TPLF is a criminal enterprise that should be erased from future political polity or at least be kept at bay.

Bereket Simon said it took six years Shiferaw Shigute and other executive members of EPRDF to understand the paper he wrote. He also said ADP leaders are lazy.

Now it is true that EPRDF is dead and buried!
********************************************************************

Ethiopia’s former Communication Minister, Bereket Simon, has been arrested by the Amhara regional government at his residence in the capital, Addis Ababa, multiple news sources, state and private, have reported.

Simon is also a founding member of the ruling coalition, the Ethiopian Peoples Revolutionary Democratic Front, EPRDF. Multiple local mdia channels are reporting that his arrest is in connection with corruption.

Another arrested official is Tadesse Kassa, a former top civil servant. Simon was a member of the Amhara regional bloc in the EPRDF.

If it failed to defend its creator Bereket Simon, EPRDF is really dead!

The political fight among the EPRDF members, mainly TPLF, ADP, and ODP show that EPRDF is on its dead-bed. RIP
