Opdo has revealed its plan to Continue TPLF's Addis Ababa Masterplan

Post by Noble Amhara » 14 Oct 2024, 12:11

by calling it Shagar city the OPDO regime is succesffully clearing the outskirts of Addis Ababa even on Google Earth I am amazed to see how large urbanization is spreading out of AA. Already

Lega Tefo and Lege Dedi = 31 sq KM of land
Addis Alem and Sebeta = 38 sq KM of land
Barayu = 38 sq KM of land

OPDO must successfully convince or buy more farms from Tulama farmers to expand shaggar town. This means OPDO is continuing TPLF's Masterplan for Addis Ababa

from there what will tulama farmers say? once they end up landless? are they enjoying the expansion of Addis Ababa too?

OPDO still hasn't been able to unify Lega Tafo, with Addis Alem and Barayu because they will have to evict more Tulama farmers out of Addis Ababa Zurya

So you are saying Oromos are being displaced in their own land? What country will Ethiopia be without the decisions of the population? Governments and politicians are the enemy who serve foreign and liberation Front interest and not people. Current govt it’s survival is by dividing the population but it was voted in by majority therefore must serve with the population not by colliding with liberation fronts and foreigners

Shegar city which was planned to be created by Abiy Ahmed - Shimiles Abdisa is a city that cannot be made

Simply Addis Ababa is its own special region and OPDO was trying to create a oromo only city that surrounds Addis to threaten Addis ababans

The problem is OPDO cannot connect Lega Tafo to Gelan - Lega Tafo to Suluta without evicting thousands of Tulama Shewan farmers out of their farmlands

Nor can Sebeta be connected with Dukem without displacing local Tulama farmers

The only thing that can happen is the continual expansion of the sub cities outside of Addis Ababa like Barayu Lega Tefo Lega Dedi, Sebeta, Gelan by taking more and more Tulamaa farmland away
