The truth is: Both of our countries rank among the poorest, neither of us have the right to feel superior or better, to be quite honest. If our politicians, mostly Ethiopians, worked as hard at development as they do serving the interests of the west or looting; maybe we'd be better off. But the truth is that, also, they know better than to *try* to escape the poverty trap certain super powers keep Ethiopia/Africa in. They'd then be targeted by their rebels, sanctions, and more.
