It is now becoming more and more clear that both Tigray and Amara killils are proving ungovernable for Abiy Ahmed's regime.
Amara Fano seems to be replaying the pre-Abiy Oromo Qero.
The question now is what is the goal of the Amara resistance? What is it that Amara opposition wants?
Is it some sort of inter-Amara killil bound demand or is it some sort of national demand that must include other killils and non-Amaras?
Who is in a position here on ER Forum to enlighten us on the matter?
It is another fallacy of your thinking pattern, which has become more of a common on this forum.
There is no Amhara uprising, if there is one, then there is also Oromo uprising based on your own logic.
The government is fighting in both regions, Amhara and Oromo, against those who are rising arms to topple the democratically elected government by force and refusing to submit to the national authority. In both of the regions these are but on the fringe of the society and driven by extremist views, on top of being delusional.
Oromos in Oromia are fighting against the "uprising" of so called Shane and Amharas in Amhara region are also fighting against the "uprising" of so called Fano (both extremists), so it is far from being something that could be uprising of the whole population. That is where you are wrong. And it is not comparable with that of Qeerroo.
Qeerroo uprising encompassed the broader mass and involved those in the government itself, allied itself to the police and other security apparatus of the state.
Your "Amhara uprising" is being fought back and going to be crushed to the ground by the Amhara security forces themselves. Take your bitter pill!
