Not only Assab but half of Eritrea belongs to Tigray, Ethiopia.

Post by EPRDF » 28 Jan 2022, 13:04

Half of Eritrea particularly the entire Hammasien and Akaleguzay are part of Northern Tigray, Ethiopia. Menilik sold it to Italy for a few guns and rifles.

Emperor Haile Selasie rectified Menilik 's error and re-established Ethiopian sovereignty over its lost domain, Medri Bahri aka Eritrea.

Assab was sold to Italy by the local Afari sultan, prior to that Assab was also part and parcel of Ethiopia. Italy's colony over Eritrea began after the transaction of Assab between the Sultan and Bannetoni.

Ras Alula and many gallant Tigaru fought and protected the sea coast of Medri Bahri from the Egyptian and Turkish invaders for centuries. The Eritrean Agames who are making noises now were nowhere to be seen at the time.

Woyane leaders betrayed Tigray and Ethiopia in this modern-day and delivered Medri Bahri to the grandchildren of the coward separatists, who were never seen in history defending the sea coast, in a silver platter.

gram nefese Qegn Eritrea will be re-annexed soon or later. Then and only then lasting peace will prevail.

Treaty of Wichale, Wichale also spelled Ucciali, (May 2, 1889), pact signed at Wichale, Ethiopia, by the Italians and Menilek II of Ethiopia, whereby Italy was granted the northern Ethiopian territories of Bogos, Hamasen, and Akale-Guzai (modern Eritrea and northern Tigray) in exchange for a sum of money and the provision of 30,000 muskets and 28 cannons.

EPRDF,

Lol... Lol..lol

I disagree with you on some historical facts such as assab was ethiopian and alula defended the coast from the turkish invaders. Lol there was no turkish troops at the eri coasts till the year 1840s later Egypt took over. The warlord shifta allula never fought against turkey.

Can you enlighten us that your menilik or tedros or yohannes owned a ship or even a small boat in the red sea? Of course you can't. You people only became familiar with the red sea after your midget negus sillassie annexed eritrea forcefully in the year 1962.

Medri Bahri, Today's Eritrea mainly lands of Hammasien and Akaleguzay have always been part of Tigray as the same is also true to the periphery of Afar coastline. Eritrea is the invention of Italy. Eritrea emerged out of Ethiopia when European powers were snatching African lands during the era known as the scramble of Africa.

Kerenite Hawey, If you want Keren, Aymat, Alghena and the rest of the lands of Rashaida and Beniamr, you can have them and join Sudan al shaQiQ or keep Eritrea. But we need the portions of the Agame land, Hammasien and Akaleguzay back to their origin, Tigray, Ethiopia.

When Menelik signed the treaty he also mentioned that historically Eritrea was never Ethiopia, the question is now where does tigray sit in this dilemma? I mean yes you started speaking tigrigna 150 years ago, you stole our dancing, fashion etc to be like us Eritreans. Tigrayans are just a mish mash mix of Amhara/oromo mostly from shewa who were brought over to Axum to serve and were left behind when the Elite moved to Gondar and Goijam and became Amhara + those slaves from Harrar in later dates that were brought back in the 16th century, that is why Tigrayans look deformed with at least one thing about their look or shape looking abnormal, you are a lost left over from amhara and oromo who were left to live in a useless region but now feel inferior because everyone around you still view you as a leftover. Eritrea is a recognized country by hundreds of nations while tigray is a small useless province in Ethiopia, the difference between attacking Wollo and Eritrea is apart from the strong army from the EDF who would belt you Eritrea under international law have every right to defend its soverign territory this means using chemical weapons if you step into our land, something like Fleet spray to flies lol But in saying that i wish Tigrayans would actually attack Eritrea we will make sure no tigrayans is in tigray, half of them would be dead and the other half sold to western factories in the west as refugees for labour. we will re-populate Tigray with other ethiopian ethnic group.

Agames are in no position to demand any thing. their fate will be decided in asmara and Gonder and the sooner they realize this facts the more they will be willing to accept their destiny.

Ethiopia is not in a position to confront any country at this moment. Ethiopia's top priority should be to stabilize its internal politics, which divided the nation in an unprecedented manner in her previous history.

The entire referendum and the secession of Eritrea that took place in an agreement between two Tegaru in 1991 will be declared void.

Ethiopia needs a nationalist and pragmatic leader and not awanabaj preacher like we have in arat kilo now. With a good, nationalist leader it will take us one to two years to restructure Mekelakeya. We need a well-trained million men modern army in the air and ground and not the tirki mirkis led by baboon so-called generals as we have it now.

Once we place everything in order and secure national cohesion, Ethiopia must file a claim at the international court to let Eritrea hand over Assab peacefully to its legitimate owner, Ethiopia. While the legal proceeding file is active in the court, Ethiopia should station half of its military strength at the Bure Assab front and prepare herself for the eventuality.

It would be wise for Eritrea to give up Assab and keep Hamassien and Akale guzay land with the rest of Eritrea and to live in peace as a good neighbor while benefiting from the huge Ethiopian economy for eternity. If they choose to walk on any other routes and try to play a hero, well, then they will be making their lives miserable and will let their youth keep sailing on the Mediterranean for ten generations to come.
