#Unlimited - Ethio Telecom is increasingly making it very hard for the competitors

Post by temari » 14 Jan 2022, 16:45

With only 1700 Birr (32 USD) you now get unlimited voice and unlimited 4G internet. It will not be easy for the competitors to penetrate the market. Kudos to CEO Frehiwot. She completely transformed the company from one of the most worthless in Africa to one of the most competitive.

ካድሬው other competitors can still make huge profits at 20 dollars for the same unlimited offer. They still have a wide room to break it down if government won't be any hurdle in their operations. That said, tele must reduce the long list of confusing offers and packages

Mr. fake news panic  , we are talking here about unlimited 4G internet and not like 20 GB limit. I'm not sure if you get such unlimited 4G internet for 20 dollars even in the west. That is very hard to beat. I agree though on what you said about the package confusion.

Specify what is not good about the offer. My cousin bought it and told me she is happy about it. In fact she is the one that showed me the package.

Ethio-Telecom can't be competitive as it stands right now. It is marred by total lack of operational efficiency and people tried to seek the attentions of those in decision making role to take note and start taking remedial steps, to no avail so far.

Efficiency starts by automating the business processes and thereby reducing costs, among other things like increasing customer satisfication and operational accuracy, to just add more additional qualities to be gained from such an automation.

Reduced cost, in turn, leads to competitive price offerings for their products to their customers.

The west you are talking about has already passed the stage of process automation and entered the stage of digital transformation, ready to start leveraging the potentials of Intelligent Enterprise in their business processes.

This is how modern businesses are keeping themselves at the competitive edges.
