National Peace Dialogue is Officially Dismissed - the Ultimate Failure of Abiy Ahmed. The immature and diffident puppy has committed political suicide. He has now lost not only the Ethiopian broader public but also most political parties and influential personalities. There is no chance for him to conduct National peace dialogue. A man who in the first place does not have peace with himself can not make peace happen at societal level. He is singing አሸኙኝም ወይ መሄደ አይደለም ወይ? He shot himself in the foot.

It is very natural for the PM to make deals with identity political ideologs than others for he is one of them. The lip service about Ethiopia and its harmony are only to be converted to real contingent up on his base securing 100% what they are after.

There will be no meaningful gains to be sought from the much hyped about dialogue, which seems increasingly to be stillborn. The other problem is that TPLF won't settle for less than serving the head of the PM on the platter. With the moves that the PM is making, TPLF is inching towards its goals by the days. OLF barking against the PM is very much expected if the rest of us are inclined to support him. Otherwise, they don't seem to follow the merits of his actions.
