I guess it feels like customary law in Tigray to pray for violence than asking from rain from the sky. The harvest from violence might be more bountiful than what God's rain can grow on their lands. The dictionary meaning of peace in Tigray means violence - all the problems of Ethiopia comes from there and all Ethiopian in turn waste their time, resource and lives to stop the violence there. So, there has to be a paradigm shift and some thinking outside of the box. I don't know what that should be. But just in case EDF and FANO took over መቀሌ for the second time, appoint a military governors from South or Amhara all the way from the provincial city to the district and establish a strong military leadership that can take immediate decisive action on thieves, lairs, violent thugs. It is waste of time to talk of democracy, Tigray's historical question is how to secure livelihood and they should be taught in a different way; that is earning it on their own sweat on their wasteful blood. In stead of farming this last Kiremt/rainy season/, their hopping like grasshoppers, yet they are now stealing the crops of Amhara farmers who even under violent occupation managed working like bees cultivating their fields. The culture of laziness and theft has to be eradicated in Tigray and replaced with culture of work.
