Ethiopian politics has changed incrementally, sometime painfully, for the last almost three years. But it has changed significantly just nine months ago when ENDF was attacked by TPLF. That totally changed political equation. The nationalists, the great majority of Ethiopians have awakened.

Here is the genius of the Abiy administration in play. US and European politicians were brainwashed for almost three decades Ethiopia is nothnig more than collection of tribes. The country called Ethiopia is a myth.
Abiy wanted that narrative to get a rest. He mobilized the nation. The nation responded positively. Good for him.
