Where did you get Balcha's youth picture?! Bravo! It is amazing. Notice how the horses are breeding to become short and small these days. These days horses are the size of donkeys. When I was growing up our horses were very tall. We had two horses and one mule for our mother and the girls.

I think Balcha's picture was taken at a Church but I also see an Enset by the house and that kind of tells me it could have been a house. My gut feeling is that it was a Church with a lot of pillars and many steps around the building.

It’s sad to see the Gurage traditional houses being replaced by Metal roofs. But it’s hard to convince people to do otherwise while the main roofing material in major cities is metal, not by choice but out of necessity. Notwithstanding this fact, it’s interesting to note that the illusion of “modernity” or “ a better world” is affecting every society. It’s a fake narrative perpetuated by the media and elites at all levels. For example, there is no other buzzwords that annoys me more than “ደረጃውን የጠበቀ or ዘመናዊ”. What the fvck does that mean? Who sets the standard? It is a clear indicator that our elites are mentally colonized by which they in turn are brainwashing rural Ethiopia.

Hallmark of people bent on destroying or at least weakening Ethioia, be it by their own free volition or as an agent to others of the same goal, is trying to appear to side with this or that part of the same entity and at the same time also demonizing the other part within the same bigger entity. They present their poison to the side they opted to appear to be sympathetic with by sugar coating it. But it is also not difficult to see how shallow their acclaimed sympathy is, as this is very much superficial.

Look for example at TPLF, its trade mark revolves around sowing discord between the Amhara and the Oromo peoples, the day the two started to quarrel between themselves, this entity goes back and celebrate its "achievement".

At the same time, in its shallow understanding of what its self claims, the entity talks about its concern for Ethiopia, doesn't tell that Ethiopia is the sum total of its own constituent parts, if any part fails, then the overall entity will get severly damaged and can't function the way it did before the damage occurred.

In an effort to sow the discord well TPLF and its foot-soldiers get highly pressed any kind of conflict to appear that it is between this and that ethnic group, which have coexisted for millenia in tolerance and harmony before the entity was never conceived.

They also tell the current war in the country is between Tigray and the Amhara peoples, not between an offshoot of one of the peoples of Ethiopia and the patriotic ethiopians defending their country from aggressors. The fact that the Amhara people became the first target of the errand entity stemming from the people of Tigray is just a matter of geographic and historical coincidence. The target is not to eliminate the Amhara people, it is all about destroying Ethiopia, using all means possible, icluding to harm the Amhara people as a tactical goal.

If it had a boundary (proximity) with the Oromo people, then it would have equally used the Oromo people as a scapegoat for its grand agenda of destroying Ethiopia.So, don't be mislead about its claim of some sort of enemity between the two peoples. You can easily replace the card of Amhara with that of the Oromo, the Afar, Somali, Beneshangul, Gambella, etc.

Discord is the ultimate goal.

In light of this Noble Amhara trying to sow a little bit of his share of discord between the two peoples of Guraghe and Oromo, naming Dejach Balcha Safo as Balcha Seifu and talking about "oromized Guraghe" is just about shedding his crocodile tears for this or that group, without any sort of sympathy for this or the other party.

Understand the motive before getting trapped into his and cohorts pitfall.

Recently there was a documentary TV report on this patriotic Ethiopian and it only showed how an Ethiopian he was, not how an Oromo or a Guraghe he was while alive.

ሆሩስ ወገኔ አንተ የምትለውን እቀበላለሁ። ጉራጌ ስለሆንክ! የጉራጌ ውሸታም ስላላየሁ።
ነገርግን እኔ እስከማውቀው ባልቻም ሰፎም በኦሮሞነታቸው ነው የሚታወቁት። አንተ ሁለቱም ቃላት የጉራጌ ናቸው ብለሃል። ሊሆኑ ይችላሉ። እኔም በደስታ እቀበላለሁ። ክስታኔም ቱለማም ለኔ እኩል ናቸው።
እኔን እዚህ ያናገረኝ ይሄ Noble Amhara የተባለው አጭበርባሪ "ሰፎ"ን አጣሞ "ሰይፉ" ማለቱ አናዶኝ ነው። ከላይ እንዳነበብኸው ሰውዬው ሲጀመር አማራም እንዳልሆነ ሠላም ነግራናለች።
