Would it not be better to make some economic policy changes and bring growth that can also fund and support the war? This kind of fund raising in the name of this and that is only benefiting individuals and corrupt leaders.

Anything given to religion institutions and government activities is waste. It won't go to the intended goal.

Thanks for sharing the information. It is imperative for every Amhara to respond this historic call. I hope all friends of Amhara people will participate in this. Any Amhara that does not seize opportunity will be missing this obligation, especially when his fellow Amhara from every town and village is sacrificing his or her own precious life to stop the Tigre Woyane genocide. As we all know Amhara is the most under armed, undertrained and underfunded; but are the most victim of ethnic cleansing, the most victim of displacement and the most targeted. Helping this segment of population of our country is a citizenry call. This is both legit and morally acceptable call.

As you have said, this is the minimum obligation that we/every Amhara people has to do. Our people at home are paying their bloods and they lives to save our people from genocide by TPLFs/Tigrayans. At least we have to support them financially.
