For the past 30 years EU sent its observers to observe Ethiopian elections and affirmed it’s conviction to democracy. Therefore, without EUs observers Ethiopian election is null!!!!!
This should be the jock of the century!!!!!

How convenient for Taye to blame the EU after the government itself made it impossible for the EU to observe by refusing the import of communication systems. Nice try but I have to admit the government will be successful in deceiving many Ethiopians by using emotional patriotic rhetoric but not me. For me it is not the EU that didn't want to observe but it is the government that blocked them. I'm waiting the reaction from the Election board. After all it is the Election board that invited the EU not the government as far as I understand.

The EU regrets the refusal of the fulfilment of standard requirements for the deployment of any Electoral Observation Mission, namely the independence of the Mission and the import of mission communication systems, something that is key for the security of EU observers, in particular in the context of a challenging security environment.
