ለትግራይ 70 በመቶው የግብርና ምርት ከወልቃይት ጠገዴ ጠለምትና ራያ ይሰበሰብ እንደነበር የትግራይ ጊዜያዊ አስተዳደር ግብርና ቢሮ ገልፆአል። ትክክል ነው። ድሮም እነዚህን አካባቢዎች ነጥቀው ሲጠቀሙባቸው የነበረው እንደ ቅኝ ግዛት ኢኮኖሚ ነው።

አሁንም የሚያዋጣው ከአማራው፣ ከመላው ኢትዮጵያም ጋር ተስማምቶ፣ ተንቀሳቅሶ ሰርቶ መኖር ነው። እንደ ድሮው ከወልቃይት ጠገዴ ጠለምትና ራያ በአመት ሲያንስ አስር ቢሊዮን፣ ሲበዛ እስከ 17 ቢሊዮን መዝረፍ አይቻልም። የትግራይን አመታዊ በጀት ከወልቃይት ብቻ እየዘረፉ መውሰድ አክትሟል። የሚያዋጣው ተስማምቶ፣ እንደ አቅም ሰርቶ መኖር ነው።

I laugh at the agame who attribute their current predicament to their illegal occupation of Badme. These people actually thought that the Amhara will remain silent when their fertile land had been forcibly annexed to Tigray to satisfy the agame's insatiable appetite for expansion.
