How many times have we heard Debretsion and Getachew Reda escape from the noose on a mule or a donkey while countless Generals, Colonels and their army is decimated. Already Getachew is weeping like a baby. Debretsion must have exhausted his tears as he is directly responsible for the catastrophe that has befallen Agames. Sooner or later, these cry-babies will surrender.

Abiy's strategy is a big mistake. The only way to deal with a criminal gang like the TPLF is a merciless and decisive action to obliterate it. But Abiy has been dithering, giving the TPLF multiple "this is the final warning" ultimata. That only emboldens the opponent. And in the case of people like the Tigrayans, who have a very distorted view of reality, it may make them believe their lies that the only reason Abiy has not done it is because they are winning.
