A blessing in disguise

Post by justo » 27 Dec 2020, 05:51

A mystery in the current Ethiopian conflict is why Tigray chose to go full out blaming Eritrea for all its self-inflicted miseries. Even more mysterious is the concocted double-negative narrative of non-existing Eritrean soldiers robbing non-existing Tigray wealth.

What Eritreans need to focus now is not on whether this double-negative narrative is true or false, that is totally immaterial, what they need to remember is that this narrative now makes a central component of the Tigray mind-set, that Eritreans are to blame for all Tigray miseries.

The ትንዕቁና ኢኹም narrative was mostly true, the ሰሪቕኩሙና ኢኹም narrative wholly false. But irrespective of that, both narratives are blessing in disguise and undermine the third false narrative, which is the most insidious, the ኣሕዋት ኢና narrative.

De-neighboring Tigray, is a process of disengagement whereby Eritrea and Tigray become non-neighbors, going their separate ways, with minimal positive or negative interactions between them, until such a day that the unruly Tigray emotions have subsided.

just,

You living in your hgdef bubble

Many Eritreans are saying not in my name. And The direct victims Tigrayans are reading it clearly. Just sample media in Tigrigna and the opposite is true: Tegaru on both sided are seeing eye to eye after the war.

Today more than before the war, you find many Eritreans appear on Ethiopian media and vice versa. The unspoken taboo is dissipating. The war is a blessing in disguise to the future relation of the two Tegaru.

The wall you built is coming down. Eritreans are really saying to hgdef BS and your view is reflection of what colonialism damage still manifesting, nothing else.

That's my impression

Eden the forum ho' , There is none and won't be any brotherhood and or friendly neighbor between the hasadat tribe and us Eritreans. We have learnt the hard way although we ignored our forfathers advice " these tribe will not leave you alone, if they are starving, they would come begging. If they are well fed, they would come to kill and steal." correct indeed about the Chigray tribe. You stay on your corner accepting you are the minors and little province of great Ethiopia. And we'll stay in our corner be it dirt poor or wealthy nation "Eritrea". We would not accept migrants to be beggars , prostitutes, thief and hinder our progress. So please show your brotherhood to the people of Sudan for they are your brothers as opposed the Ethiopian people as you claim. Nay Agame Neger.

That is not true. Words are not facts. Both Tigrayans and ረፋዕ ጀበሊs used to live with us . They never left Eritrea because of some not nice words. Don't be a victim of exaggerations and béla-bélews.

The first phase of trauma is always shock. Tigray is shell-shocked, in total denial, inside a fragile bubble. Those few Eritreans you mention have also been a blessing in disguise and have helped in confusing the Tigray mind-set, giving false hopes. A conflict is now raging in social media between Tigrés who want to differentiate between "HGDEF" and Eritrea and those with no such illusion. Even Eritrean refugees in Tigray camps have shown their true color, and are being blamed for siding with "HGDEF".

I hear your points. The whole blaming Eritrea for their humiliating defeat no matter how you look at it makes them look like fools. Either they were idiots for not accepting the peace when it first came and remove their filth from Eritrean territory or they were soundly defeated by Abiy. I mean the whole western half of their kilil was lost in just a few days, those Amhara militias made short work of the supposedly "well trained" TPLF militia .

Now all they have left is to try and flood social media shaking their booty at any westerner or Eritrean willing to listen to their begging. To think one could fall so low, from ruling Ethiopia to crying about Eritrea's ghost army 24/7. What is really funny to me is they don't realize how humiliating it is to say the Eritrean army is in their kilil . What they're saying to their future generation is "Eritreans took us to Addis and then they took us to the grave" alla agame so stupid . God is certainly good to let us see our enemies fall so low.

Spot on! brother. Well said and to the point. If these people were normal, to create some belligerence against a government and people who have stood beside them for a long time, was stupid and total ignorance. It is perfectly normal to disagree on any issues between two neighboring people. But to instigate a totally unreasonable and unacceptable war against a nonsuspecting Eritrea was as senseless as anything would be. The criminal Weyanes should have known that the truth would always surface out no matter how they tried to burry it with the help of their foreign masters. ኣበደን!

The bankrupt junta's cadres like eden are counting on their Tegaru Diaspora communities to finance their anti Eritrea and anti Ethiopia social media activities thru fund raising. One way they empty the wallets of the hapless Tegaru is by pretending to be Eritreans and showing support to the dead junta for the sole purpose of providing them false hopes and comfort.
