More than 250 ethnic Amhara and Agews are massacred just in one day in Metekel wereda of Benshangul Gumuz Region. This happened a day after the PM visited the said Region and supposedly consulted with the "Regional Government and the people" in how to stop the on going genocide.

Amhara are the majority ethnic group in Metekel with no political representations. They are also the group that are being pressured to leave the Region by various means including outright genocide, economic discrimination, exclusion from the political and governance activities of the Region.

Metekel used to be part of Gojjam untill 1995 when TPLF decided to take Metekel from Gojjam and Assosa from Wellega to create a fraud region called Benshangul Gumuz. The main aim for TPLF to do as such was to control the fertile lands of Metekel, the Abay Dam and the mineral resources of Assossa in its expansionist agenda.

The Amhara and Agews in the Region are not allowed to arm themselves to protect their families and properties. The Federal government as well as the international community seems to be not giving the attention commensurate with the problem. Unless this problem is checked , it could potentially herald a dawn of a civil war the outcome of which won't be helping anyone.

If it is on the ground in the stated region, did the dead chose to take the consequence of their evil deeds (like Amhara elites push them to do) or were innocent Agews? How do you see the present allegation in view of over 250 Gumuz sacrificed at the hand of bandits dispatched by Amhara regime?

To be fair, let the Amhara elites and their media outlets reserve themselves from provoking colonial expansion and advise their people in diaspora to accord the rule of the land they are living in and respect the natives of the federated states. Only then comes justice to all!

The perpetrators are said to be armed with heavy weaponry, machine guns and machetes. They did lock houses from outside while the people were sleeping inside at night and set the houses on fire.

EZEMA accuses the Federal government of negligence to do its legally constituted duty of protecting civilians when in fact the victims reported that the danger is imminent. What is more puzzling is the characterization of the horrific incidents by the PM as conflicts when all indications are that the crime is committed selectively targeting Amhara and Agew farmers.

"የሰዎች ደኅንነት ማረጋገጥ ቀዳሚው የመንግሥት ግዴታ ነው " በሚል በመተከል ዞን፣ ቡለን ወረዳ፣ በኩጂ ቀበሌ በንፁሃን ላይ የደረሰውን ጥቃት አስመለክቶ የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን መግለጫ አውጥቷል።

በክልሉ ያለው የሰብአዊ መብቶች ጥበቃ በከፍተኛ ሁኔታ እተዳከመ መሄዱን የገለፀው ኮሚሽኑ የጥቃቱን ሂደት በተመለከተ ከሚመለከታቸው አካላት እና ከተጎጂዎች ጋር በመነጋገር ሲከታተልና ሲያጣራ መቆየቱን አስታውቋል።

በኩጂ ቀበሌ በሰው ሕይወት እና አካል ላይ ከደረሰው ጉዳት በተጨማሪ የደረሱ ሰብሎችና የተሰበሰቡ ማሳዎች በእሳት መጋየታቸውም ጭምር መረጃ እንደደረሰው ገልጿል።

በድባጤ ወረዳ ዶንበን ቀበሌ ስጋት የገባቸው ነዋሪዎች ከታኅሣሥ 14 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ ቀዬአቸውን ጥለው እየተሰደዱ እንደሆነም ኮሚሽኑ መረጃ እንዳለው አስታውቋል።

ኢሰመኮ በቤኒሻንጉል ጉሙዝ የሚከሰቱ ጥቃቶችን ተደጋጋሚነትና የክልሉን ሰብአዊ መብቶች ጥበቃ ሁኔታ አስመልክቶ፣ የፌዴራሉንና የክልሉን መንግሥታት የተጠናከረ ትብብርና ከፍተኛ ትኩረት እንደሚሻ ሲያሳስብ የቆየ ቢሆንም ጥቃቶቹ በመልክ እና በስፋት እየተባባሱ መምጣታቸውን ነው የገለፀው ።

ስለሆነም፣በጥቃቱ ጉዳት ለደረሰባቸውን እና ለተፈናቀሉ ሰዎች የህክምና እና ሰብአዊ እርዳታ እንዲቀርብ፣ እንዲሁም ተገቢው ማጣራትና ጥቃቱን ባለመከላከልም ሆነ በሌላ መልኩ ጥቃቱን የፈጸሙና ያባባሱ ሰዎችን ሕግ ፊት የማቅረብ ሂደት ከወዲሁ እንዲጀመር ኮሚሽኑ አሳስቧል።

በአካባቢው የሚገኘውን የፀጥታ ኃይልና መዋቅር የሰዎችን ደኅንነት ሙሉ በሙሉ ለማረጋገጥ በሚያስችል መልኩ በከፍተኛ ደረጃ በአፋጣኝ እንዲጠናከርም ኢሰመኮ ጥሪ አቅርቧል።

የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብት ኮምሽን በመተከል ዞን ቡለን ወረዳ በኩጄ ቀበሌ ከሌሊቱ 10 ሰዓት ላይ የታጠቁ ኃይሎች በእንቅልፍ ላይ በነበሩ ንፁሃን ላይ በለኮሱት እሳትና ተኩስ ከመቶ በላይ ንፁሃን መገደላቸውን በመግለጫው አትቷል።

በቡለን ሆስፒታል 36 ቁስለኞች እየታከሙ መሆኑን የገለፀው ኮምሽኑ አብዛኛዎቹ በጥይትና በቀስት የቆሰሉ ናቸው ብሏል። በሰው ሕይወትና አካል ላይ ከደረሰው ጉዳት በተጨማሪ የደረሱ ሰብሎች በእሳት ተቃጥለዋል ብሏል።

ጥቃቱ አካባቢውን እንዲያረጋጉ የተመደቡ የፀጥታ አካላት ወደቦታው የተላኩ ባለስልጣናትን ለማጀብ አካባቢውን ለቅቀው ሲወጡ መጀመሩ ታውቋል።

By the wisdom vested on me, I disqualify your claim for two reasons:
You are not showing any evidence of victims than quoting sources of the born to lie.
What I saw graphic report is that Gumuz being tied as cow and murdered by bandits likely from Amhara vandals.

As a tip on ice berg, I suggest you rather that you advise the people living out of their native territory to respect the law of the land they are living in, and respect the natives they are living with. Also tell them not to hear hooligans in Amhara based pseudo media outlets that give them politically motivated evil advise.

2:በቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልል መተከል ዞን ቡለን ወረዳ ታኅሳስ 13 ታጣቂዎች በፈጸሙት ጥቃት የተገደሉት 207 ሰዎች እንደሆኑ የክልሉ ሃላፊዎችን ጠቅሶ ቢቢሲ አማርኛ ዘግቧል፡፡ የአካባቢው አስተዳደር ሁሉም ሟቾች በጅምላ መቃብር እንዲቀበሩ አድርጓል፡፡ በወረዳው ጭላንቆ፣ አዲስ ዐለም፣ ዶቢ እና ጎንጎ ከተባሉ ገጠር ቀበሌዎች በርካቶች ሌላ ጥቃት ይኖራል በሚል ፍራቻ ወደ ቡለን ከተማ እየተፈናቀሉ እንደሆነም ተገልጧል፡፡

3: በደቡብ ክልል ኮንሶ ዞን እና አጎራባች ወረዳዎች ባለፈው ወር በተፈጸሙ ጥቃቶች በትንሹ 66 ሰዎች እንደሞቱ በምርመራ ማረጋገጡን የኢትዮጵያ ሰብዓዊ መብት ኮሚሽን በትዊተር ገጹ ባሰራጨው ሪፖርት አስታውቋል፡፡ በግጭቱ 39 ሰዎች የቆሰሉ ሲሆን፣ ከ130 ሺህ በላይ ነዋሪዎች ከቀያቸው ተፈናቅለዋል፤ ከባድ የንብረት ውድመትም ደርሷል- ብሏል ሪፖርቱ፡፡ ለግጭቱ እና ጥቃቱ ጉማይዴ የተባለ ልዩ ወረዳ እንዲዋቀር የሚጠይቅ ታጣቂ ቡድን እጅ እንዳለበት ይነገራል፡፡



4: በቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ እና በሌሎች አካባቢዎች የሚፈጸሙ ማንነትን መሠረት ያደረጉ ጥቃቶች እንዳሳሰቡት እና በገለልተኛ አካልም ሊጣሩ እንደሚገባቸው አውሮፓ ኅብረት ዛሬ ባወጣው መግለጫ አስታውቋል። በጠቅላላው ሀገሪቱ የሚታዩት ጥቃቶች፣ የሰብዓዊ መብት ጥሰቶች፣ ሰብዓዊ ቀውሶች እና ማንነት ላይ የተመሠረቱ ጥቃቶች አሳሳቢ ሆነዋል- ብሏል ኅብረቱ። በትግራይ ክልል ያለው ግጭት እና ቀጠናዊ ተጽዕኖው ለዐለም ዐቀፉ ማኅበረሰብ አሳሳቢ እየሆነ ያወሳው መግለጫው፣ ግጭቶች ሙሉ በሙሉ መቆም እንዳለባቸው፣ ዕርዳታ ለዕርዳታ ፈላጊዎች ያለ ምንም እክል እንዲዳረስ እና ሁሉም ወገኖች ዐለማቀፍ የሰብዓዊ ሕግጋትን ለከበሩ እንደሚገባ አሳስቧል። ስደተኞችም ሆኑ ተፈናቃዮች ወደ ሀገራቸው ወይም ወደ ቀያቸው እንዲመለሱ እንዳይገደዱም ጠይቋል። [ዋዜማ ራዲዮ]

በቤኒሻንጉል ጉሙዝ መተከል ዞን ቡለን ወረዳ በንፁሀን ዜጎች ላይ በደረሰው ህልፈተ ህይወትና ጥቃት ኢ- ሰብአዊ ድርጊት የተሰማንን ሀዘን እንገልፃለን።

የዚህ አይነቱ ና መሰል ኢ-ሰብአዊ ድርጊት በየትኛውም የአጋራችን ክፍል እንዳይደገም ዘላቂ መፍትሄ ለመስጠት መንግስትና ህዝብ በጋራ በመሆን በተለይም የየአካበቢውን ነባር የእርቅ፣ የፍቅር እና የመቻቻል እሴቶች በማዳበር ባህላዊ አደረጃጀቶችን በጥናት በመደገፍ ቀጣይነት ያለው ስራ ሊሰራ ግድ ይላል።

ጥፋቶች ሳይከሰቱ በፊት አዝማሚያዎችን በመከታተል እና ሳይንሳዊ በሆነ መልኩ ትንታኔ በመስጠት ቅድመ መከላከል ስራ ላይ በተለየ መልኩ ተጠናክሮ ሊቀጥል ይገባል።

የአማራ ጩኸት ጆሮህን ከበጠሰው፣ ያንተ በአማራ እልቂት መስማማትም አማራን ከሀገሩ ኢትዮጵያ አይነጥለውም። አሳዳጅና ገዳዮቹ ግን ዘመን የማይሽረው ወንጀላቸውን ለልጅ ልጆቻቸው አውርሰው የውርደት ሞት ይሞታሉ::

Even in the light of such tragedies you make big lies by omission, since you mention ONLY Amhara deaths while the deaths include lots of Oromos, Agaws, Shinashas and several other non Amhara peoples. Reports say that there are more Shinashas dead than Amharas. So you keep writing childish distorted information and one sided political propaganda in order to gain one sided distorted sympathy and in that way add petrol in to the fire. Shame!

Even in the ugly tragedy of maikadra there were Oromos, Agaws, several people from the Southern Ethiopian region and not only Amharas. May be more Shinashas died than the Agaws, Amharas and Oromos. Control your blind emotion and take up rationality and balance the report based the facts on the ground.

በተለይ ታኅሳስ 13 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም. ከሌሊቱ አሥር ሰዓት በቤኒሻንጉል ጉምዝ ክልል መተከል ዞን፣ ቡለን ወረዳ በኩጂ ቀበሌ የታጠቁ ኃይሎች፣ በነዋሪዎች ላይ በለኮሱት እሳትና ተኩስ በርካቶች ከመሞታቸውም በተጨማሪ፣ በርካታ ቤቶች መቃጠላቸውንና የተሰበሰበና በማሳ ላይ ያለ እህል መቃጠሉን የገለጹት ኮሚሽነሩ፣ በዚህም ምክንያት ነዋሪዎች ተፈናቅለዋል፣ ተሰደዋል፣ እንዲሁም ተበታትነዋል ብለዋል፡፡
በክልሉ የነዋሪዎችን ደኅንነት ከማረጋገጥ በተጨማሪ ፈጣን የሆነ የሕክምናና የሰብዓዊ ዕርዳታ ማድረግ እንደሚገባ ያሳስቡት ዳንኤል (ዶ/ር)፣ ኮሚሽኑ ግን ቦታው ድረስ ገብቶ የማጣራት ተግባር ለማከናወን የአካባቢው የፀጥታ ችግር እንቅፋት ሆኖበታል ብለዋል፡፡ ጥቃት የተፈጸመበት በኩጂ ቀበሌ ከዋናው ወረዳ 90 ኪሎ ሜትር እንደሚርቅና አካባቢውም መንገድ የሌለው በመሆኑ፣ እንኳንስ ድጋፍ ቀርቶ መረጃውም የሚደርሰው ጥቃቱ ከደረሰ በኋላ ዘግይቶ እንደሆነና ይህም ችግሩን ውስብስብ እንዳደረገው ገልጸዋል፡፡

Even in the ugly tragedy of maikadra there were Oromos, Agaws, several people from the Southern Ethiopian region and not only Amharas. May be more Shinashas died than the Agaws, Amharas and Oromos. ባሕር ዳር፡ ታኅሣሥ 18/2013 ዓ.ም (አብመድ) የክልሉ ርዕሰ መስተዳድር ኡሞድ ኡጁሉ በመተከል ዞን በጥፋት ቡድኖች ማንነትን ባነጣጠረ መልኩ በንጹሃን ዜጎች ላይ የተፈጸመን ጭፍጨፋ በክልሉ መንግስትና ህዝብ ስም አውግዘዋል።

ርዕሰ መስተዳድሩ ባስተላለፉት የሀዘን መግለጫ እንዳስታወቁት የሀገር ነቀርሳ ሆኖ የቆየው የትህነግ የጥፋት ቡድን ዳግም ላይመለስ የተወገደ ቢሆንም ለ 27 ዓመት በጠነሰሰው ሴራ ተስፋ ባልቆረጡ ተላላኪዎች ዛሬም አሳዛኝ ድርጊት እየተፈጸመ ነው።

ሰላማዊ ህዝብን በመጨፍጨፍና በማስጨፍጨፍ የፖለቲካ ትርፍ ለማግኘት ሲንቀሳቀስ የነበረው የትህነግ የጥፋት ቡድን ላይ መንግስት ከወሰደው እርምጃ ጋር ተያይዞ ኢትዮጵያውያን ያሳዩትን አንድነት ለመሸርሸር የሚሰሩ ተላላኪዎች አሁንም አልጠፉም ብለዋል።

በመተከል ዞን ቡለን ወረዳ የተፈጸመው አረመኔያዊ ድርጊት ሰው የመሆን ስብዕና የጎደላቸው ቡድኖች የፈጸሙት አፀያፊ ተግባር ለዘመናት የቆየውን የኢትዮጵያውያን አንድነትና ወንድማማችነት ፈጽሞ ሊሸረሽረው እንደማይችል አስገንዘበዋል።

"በብሔር ላይ ያነጣጠረውን የጥፋት ኃይሎች ጥቃት በጋራ በመመከት ኢትዮጵያ የዜጎች ደኅንነት የተረጋገጠባት ሀገር እንድትሆን ሁላችንም በአንድነት ልንሰራ ይገባል" ብለዋል ርዕሰ መስተዳድሩ።

ርዕሰ መስተዳደሩ በመግለጫቸው በጭፍጨፋው ህይወታቸውን ላጡ ወገኖች የክልሉ ህዝብና መንግስት ጥልቅ ሀዘን የተሰማው መሆኑን በመግለጽ ለሟቾች ቤተሰቦችና ወዳጅ ዘመዶቻቸው መጽናናትን እንደተመኙ ኢዜአ ዘግቧል፡፡

ሬሣ ብሔር የለውም እኮ ነው፡፡ ከከከከከከከ

Is it in habesha media or on the ground? If it is on the ground in the stated region, did the dead chose to take the consequence of their evil deeds (like Amhara elites push them to do) or were innocent Agews? How do you see the present allegation in view of over 250 Gumuz sacrificed at the hand of bandits dispatched by Amhara regime?

To be fair, let the Amhara elites and their media outlets reserve themselves from provoking colonial expansion and advise their people in diaspora to accord the rule of the land they are living in and respect the natives of the federated states. Only then comes justice to all!
