Did you hear the Kenyan president saying that Ethiopia and Kenya are one country, just like what PIA and PMAA also said that they are one people in a sense of friendship while honoring their sovereignty?
But the filthy, cowards, evils tegarus aka agames never complained that Ethiopia is being sold to Kenya per their deceitful analysis when it comes to Eritrea.
It is a given that all the countries in Africa and even the world are recognized sovereign countries, but to cement their friendship the leaders, even the peace loving regional ordinary citizens say that we are the same people or the same countries.
Only the agames do translate such friendship talks to creat mistrust upon the respective people, because they feel inferior to the rest.

Part of Lamu County is settled by Somalis. That's how big our land is. We are also present in Moyale on both sides.

Lamu town has Somali councillors. They have quota share.

We have stalk almost every where

Kenyan Somalis

Grateful to our forefathers who were great Al conquistadors

Our friend here is selling lands to Somalis in Lamu County

Look at the beauty 😍

Good catch. This has been the language of Abiy and almost all the leaders of neighboring countries. They are of course indicating the friendship and kinship between African neighbors but some activists have been misusing this kind of phrases as if Ethiopia and Eritrea are becoming one country. It is interesting, the same kind of activism is also found in Somalia. Some Somali social media activists were also misusing it and misinforming the public by saying that Ethiopia and Somalia are about to become one country blah blah. That is not the intention and meaning of these words at all. It is all about cooperation and doing business between brotherly independent countries.

This is a wonderful news! The new road linking Ethiopia to Kenya will open up trade opportunities that never existed under the Junta rule. African countries that conduct cross border trade don't need to rely on foreign aid to sustain the livelihood of their population. Our vision is to build complex web of road and train rail networks criss-crossing the African continent to connect people and nations, providing fast and efficient transportation of goods. Ethiopia and Eritrea are implementing this vision by inviting other African countries to join in and do their part. We are rising together from the dust of our past to rekindle the spark of our future. welcome to the new East Africa! 8)

This project is the brain child of the late PM Meles Zenawi. He convinced the African Development bank to finance the project both in the Ethiopian and Kenyan side. This is a huge multibillion dollar project and one of the biggest in the post colonial Africa. He did also convince the Chinese to invest billions on the Lamu Port.
I'm disappointed why Uhuru Kenyatta did not acknowledge that fact during the ceremony.
I understand he did not want to rain on the accidental-narcissist PM's parade.

Well, we accepted that claim and believed that he is an accidental PM as you also put here, then a new question has now been arisen, which begs an answer from the claimants ASAP: how could that accidental PM undo what has been built over 40 or 50 years in just under 3 weeks time?

Which one is truly accidental now?

Would you mind to enlighten us ?

Please come back and tell me while I do understand that the pain of losing one's condos could be excruciating and leave in unstable condition to think rationally.

Ill-gotten money will be lost in such excruciating pain.

Ironically this port is going to be the main import-export terminal for the new independent Oromia at the conclusion of the Ethiopian civil war.
