The TPLF's Actions over the Past 30 Months Specially the Attack on The ENDF is one of the Worst Blunders in History

PM Abiy is a reluctant warrior. In fact, he tolerated the intolerable defiance by the TPLF thugs for two and half years. They challenged his authority at every opportunity treating him with contempt. They refused to hand over indicted criminals like Getachew Assefa. When Federal police went to Mekele, they were arrested and humiliated before being deported back to Addis. They openly bragged that they would disintegrate Ethiopia. They incited endless terrorist acts in which thousands of Ethiopians died. They refused to cooperate with Abiy on the peace-deal that he signed with Eritrea. They blocked the Ethiopian military from reassigning its units. Throughout it all, Abiy waited patiently not taking any action. He was so meek that many Ethiopians began to lose faith in him. Meanwhile, the TPLF taking his inaction as a sign of weakness, kept pushing up the ante. They then hatched a plot with Jawar to murder Hachalu with the intention of creating unstoppable chaos in Oromia and then taking power.

I think that was the turning point for Abiy. The murder of Hachalu and the ensuing pre-planned violent riots was a wake-up call for Abiy. When the Hachalu plot failed, the TPLF thugs decided to not just hold an election but tamper with the constitution to give them the right to organize an election as if they are an independent entity. It was obvious that a confrontation was inevitable. No one, not even a saint, could tolerate such open defiance. So Abiy started to take actions such as changing the currency and withholding the budget. For the pampered thugs, who had come believe in their invincibility, that must have come with a shock. So they hatched an idiotic plan to start war by per-emtively attacking and immobilizing the Northern Command, confiscate its weaponry, and then go on the offensive not just against Ethiopia but Eritrea as well. When Abiy, as head of the Ethiopian armed forces, reorganized the force in six armies, the TPLF thugs seeing an opportunity started in motion their putsch. So on that fateful night of Nov 3, 2020, expecting that the world's preoccupation with the US elections, they set in motion an act which in retrospect is one of the greatest strategic blunders in history.

By humiliating the Ethiopian military and not doing it decisively, they lost the advantage of initiative and surprise almost from the beginning. Within a couple of days, hordes of Amhara special forces poured into Welkait defeating the rag-tag Weyane military. The Ethiopian force recovered from the initial setback and routed the Weyane kicking them out of Humera, Welkait. The illiterate Weyane generals had no clue that the advanced weaponry that they had stolen was useless as the operational codes were kept in Addis. The Ethiopian air-force soon destroyed it. So after 17 days, the TPLF has lost over 80% of Tigray and is now waiting with fear and terror for the final offensive in which most if not all of them will die.

The TPLF thugs, an incompetent bunch of thugs, believing their own lies started an action that will see their total demise. They had done Ethiopia a great favour. Their treacherous betrayal of the Ethiopian military which had defended them for 20 years will go down as one of the dirtiest act of betrayal in the annals of the history of our region. Ethiopia and the region, once the TPLF is buried, will recover and will be a peaceful and prosperous region.

The way they started the war by back-stabbing their own military, then the stupidest action of committing massacre in May Kadra, and then firing missiles onto Eritrea lost them all respect and possible sympathy from the world. The condemnations were swift and decisive. So the question, how stupid are these people.
