For the biased international media: here is a single pill to cure them

Post by DefendTheTruth » 14 Nov 2020, 17:47

Many of the western media outlets are trying to depict the image of the current PM of Ethiopia as someone who didn't deserve to win the Nobel Peace Prize internationally as someone, in their own words, who is waging a war on what they dubbed "defiant region" of the country. Many of them, if not all of them, don't even try to mention the fact that the same "defiant region" tried, or actually did, to robe the national army of its own millitary arsenal, that the country spent its dire resources to get to defend itself against a threat to its national security and soverignity, mostly from external adversaries.

They simply state that the PM sent his forces to the region, and some of them add to the claim stating that the regional authorities denied the accusations.

I am not qualified to assess how someone get candidated for the award but hope that the Norwegian Nobel Prize Committe has got its own objective criteria and assess the candidate's eligibility based on those criteria. May be those "journalists" know those criteria and wish to share with their readers and tell us how the PM was not someone who deserved the award.

But if they are trying to imply that if someone has got a Nobel Peace Prize then he/she shouldn't do anything to defend the security and soverignity of his/her own country and his/her hands should be tied up by the award, then I have no more word to say. It must be imperialism running maniac in the 21st century.

Ethiopian Activists should translate (under title) the following video and give them to cure them from their running amok, it is not good for the safety of the world citizens, if left untreated.

And compare this with what these journalists are saying in the following video:

Hmm... 8)
It is not enough that a country has strong military, strong government and humanistic peaceful values unless you add educated, wise, cvnning and shrewd diplomacy and active propaganda networks including medias actively working among all the international organizational organizations and among world communities and world governments. Tplf have been systematically building oiling and toiling among all of these circles non stop in preparation for the current occasion. But the current government seems to be far behind in these efforts as a result of which the tplf vigilante habitual killers seems to be getting baby sitters even when it is found to be pathological killers with intent to destroy a State and its government. Hope that the government is able to move forwards and remove tplf spy networks spread all over the world bent on getting publicity through bribery and corruption using money robbed from the Ethiopian people. No panic though since these jobs need cool and methodical patient systematic active working habits.

How much did you guys think tplf paid her to lie between her teeth? Otherwise she shouldn’t e a journalist since she haven’t done to get real info. She must be indeed a lazy or a corrupt one. And their reporting seems they rehearsed before the live reporting.

FYI she has to listen from the horse mouth.

No she is not interested to listen from the horse's mouth because the tplf has already oiled here and in that case the horse needs to oil here twice if the horse wants here to listen from the horse's moth. That is fact number one! 8)

I do not think the international media is “biased.” I do think it is misinformed. There is a reason for it. The TPLF politicians early on around 1991 and even before then recognized the importance of having the support of the international media. They worked hard to earn its favor. They have in fact individual westerners who are their echo chambers like their TPLF cadres.
The Abiy administration on the contrary from its infancy up to now has not quantified the value of international diplomatic warfare. That should change, and must change.
Ethiopians who are living in their homeland and those who live in foreign soil, who have not been sold to ethnic politics despite its half century existence, should be the ambassador of their country’s mission : that mission is to create a United Ethiopia which its government treats every Ethiopian equally despite the differences in ethnicity, religion and gender Ethiopians have.
We Ethiopians should not allow the international media to misinform about Ethiopian politics. We all should be the ambassador of our country.

Here another typical bias and claiming to know who should receive the Nobel Peace Prize and who shouldn't, without providing its readers the details of required criteria.

If the required criteria are missing, then we can't judge on ourselves and convince ourselves that their claim is with a grain of truth, in the absence of grain of truth, then they must have an ulterior motive that they didn't want to share with us for their claims.

Nobel Peace Prize: A Growing List of Questionable Choices
From Aung San Suu Kyi to Abiy Ahmed, the Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded at least six times in the past three decades to recipients whose recognition is being second-guessed

Even those which we thought would have a calibre of international standard couldn't resist the temptation of biased reporting.

Washington Post reported an article titled:

Official: Ethiopia’s latest airstrike hits Tigray university

and i tried to read into the content about how that bombing may look like, but I could only find:

Nagy said of the airstrike: “From what you say, I certainly hope it’s not true.”

In my understanding the diplomat told the reporter in a diplomatic words: you are a liar, isn't it?
