All non Amharic languages should be banned in Amhara region just like Tigray which banned Agaw Welkait and Raya. The always assimilating others aren’t they?

Smart and fair people know and admit that, the Amhara unitary extremists are a minority, but powerful because they reside in addis/finfinne, and have access to media and resources, while the rural amaras who may believe in federalism and are good people, do not have such privileges.
the unitary ones, tend to be mixed too, such as berhanu nega, who is an unitary anti federalist, but not fully amara.

There are only unitary forces in the nightmares of extremists and hegemonic aspirants. We all need to see a true Federalism that respects the rights of citizens. Federalism doesn't mean subjugation of minorities in any one Federation. The bogus tribal Federalism that we have been forced to live under is now collapsing under its own weight. Addis Abeba will be a federal city on its own or it will be a City under the administration of the majority of its residents. You can't be supporting self administration while at the same time imposing your ethnic/cultural identity on others.

The Amhara Region by design was made to look like what it is now. Those who had the power at the time did what they could to take away what they could and give away what they were not able to take. This time around, we will either build a country that is for all or we may not even have a country to call ours. TPLF did bite more than it could chew and, time is about coming to spite the excess. OPDO is grandstanding and time will tell how long that will last. They have conflicted agendas and hunger for domination of others which, is now resulting in the cadres eating up each other and inflicting genocide the scale of which never have been seen before.
