Raya Maychew should be in the Amhara Region
Fellow Agames and Eritreans what similarities do you have with these people absolutely none thus you cannot declare your independent Tigray with these people they are not Tigrayans they are Ethiopians

Raya Tigrinya is completely different then our main branch of Tigrinya it’s Better if they speak amharic then broken thick accented Tigrinya

Raya is entirely Tigrayan. Maichew is Tigrayan in culture and behaviour. There are no amhara except a few retired army families and teachers, who came from so-called amhara area. Rayans, specially, Maichew, do not like to be called Amhara. Please stop calling Rayans amhara or trying to give their towns to amhara. Maichew, Korem, Almata, Adi gura, Adi shiho etc are all Tigrayan.
