Doing some reading, and this statement of sebhat nega on tigrayan Independence was interesting!

Post by Sadacha Macca » 21 May 2020, 15:02

''One of the TPLF's strong men, Sebhat nega, candidly summarized the zig-zag revolutionary course of the TPLF:

Tigrayan independence was a last option, and when we were teaching the popular masses, we gave them the impression we were fighting for independence. There was indeed a tendency towards secession among fighters. In 1985, a self-criticism was made among TPLF forces and narrow nationalist tendencies were denounced ... We had to wait for 10 years to tackle the problem of narrow nationalism because the TPLF works on priorities.
We were made to fight a number of battles and we had to tackle numerous other problems which were pertinent to the very survival of the organization.
After 1985, more than just passing remarks, we were teaching more emphatically that we were fighting for Ethiopia's unity based on equality... Before 1985, ''Maybe'' used to be the answer to the question ''Could the amhara oppressed masses be our allies?'' Would they struggle for empancipation?'' Again the answer was ''They may.'' So there used to be a lot of suspicion against the amhara. that was why we stressed tigrayan nationalism-language, culture, etc.''

That werada yeshermuta ZER IS NOT EVEN TIGRAWAY; HE IS DEMBIAN-Adwan and cursedarteran, as such he is an enemy of tigray. This werada yesh'ermuta lij shimagle is one of the main obstacles to Tigray's emancipation and freedom. If I have a chance I will kill this ximbatam spy.

So how many of the top tplf leaders, were pure tigrayans? or at least, tigrayan from their father's side?

Top TPLF leaders were Tegaru from Eritrea and Ethiopia mix. Same with EPLF top leaders. It’s funny how mixed origin individuals separated the people and have them kill each other in war. What’s the psychological explanation, if any? I would expect a mixed origin person to unite people of his mom and dad side.

Sadacha,

I find this helpful source for some explanation of the poor distribution of TPLF leadership In as far as representing Tigray

The tigrayan liberation movement was the most confusing rebel movement in history . It never furfilled the goals of its people. Apart from ruling the country from 1991 till 2012 after the death of the late meles zenawi. Everything went downhill for the party leadership of tigrayan liberation movement indeed.

All diqalas anywhere must be exterminated. Diqalas across the whole world had been causes for animosity, confusiion, mistrust, war and destruction.
Bosnia-and-Herzegovina, croatia and many other mix places like them are living proof for the destruction caused by diqalu. The oromo-Amhara diqalas are the main cause of Amhara versus oromo animosity and will cause war sooner than later.

Eden , I do not know who this guy is. But I found him to be dishonest. Aregawe Berhe, and Gedey have never accused the people of Tigray as an enemy. This guy said they did. In fact , except a few uninformed Ethiopians , who are mostly slogan lovers , the majority of Ethiopians did not say the people of Tigray were enemy. Ethiopians have the brain power to distinguish between TPLF and the people of Tigray. The guy is saying the whole Ethiopia including the two prominent Tigray politicians hate the people of Tigray. That is not true. As the late New York senator said people are entitled to disseminate their opinions, but not their facts. The guy seemed to have created his own facts.
