Tigray is in deep shyyt  . Tigrayans fought for independence and almost achieved it back in 1991. Why change the venue ? Opportunism you say ? Always talking about Axumite civilization which is not relevant to the present reality. There were Persian, Roman, Greek, etc.....civilizations in the past that are irrelevant to what nation/states are today. Tigray does not have delineated territory within Ethiopia in the first place. Territories are contested. International law does not support Tigrayan independence. Tigray lacks the basics of socioeconomic structure to be an independent state Give it up, Tigray is not Israel. That is ridiculous comparison  So you lost the core of the national leadership. Don't be cry baby. Help build legitimate democracy within Ethiopia, and make peace with the country called Eritrea. You lose territories and you gain some. That is international law. Isayas or not, the international ruling stands. TPLF shoots in its own foot. It is not Sibhat and his cronies vs. Isayas and his PFDJ gov. It is about the rule of law. Had TPLF honored the ruling back some twenty years ago, Tigray could have faired much better today. I admit, the state of Eritrea would be been much better today too.

You moron and absolutely moron, you cannot even learn from your gross mistakes for the last 30 years. You run away from the feeding table at 3 AM with your bijama and you are still wearing the same Bijama for the last 30 years. Had you have a normal brain you could have stayed with the feeding table and fed your people and develop them and run away when you have enough "Sinqi".

Woyane did the right thing to stay with the feeding table but there was greediness and Tigray should have been more developed and the biggest mistake was three years ago, they should have listened to the Somali executives but we had moron Gilet Seare and blocked it. Tigray should have taken their share of federal properties and dismantle the country and form their own with Somali, Afar, Qimant and Beneshangule which was good for Eritrea too in the long run than power to rest in Amhara hand the enemy of Tigray ethnic and Tigrigna language.

Now still doable if the moron north Tigray see what we see but the Agaazians see it and the rest of Tigrayans must work with them and bring back the above scenario Woyane should have done it 3 to 5 years ago.

Good observation. The thing is Tigray youth perceives anti Tigray rhetoric from the rest of Ethiopia. Sometimes it’s real, other times it’s TPLF playing up the rhetoric even more. The result is the people are being radicalized, not necessarily thinking of destiny in terms of future benefit to them and those around them.
