Dear ANTICO: Aren't you changing a RUMOR into a FACT?

You started with "It is rumored in Tigray and southern Eritrea that...TPLF..has decided to allow..." Eritreans into its armed forces. You did not say what the source(s) of the rumor were. Who brought it to you from the TPLF and from southern Eritrea? Nevertheless, this (i.e. Eritreans fighting together with TPLF for one reason or another) is not something of a new phenomenon. TPLF and EPLF jointly fought against Derg's Etiyopiya. Also some number of unpatriotic Eritreans were reportedly on the TPLF's side to attack Eritrea (the people and Government) in the 1998-2000 border war. But I've got a question for you.

After starting with such a rumor, then, you discuss matters as if the rumors were true, because you stated that "... there is a strong undercurrent movement in Eritrea and Tigrai to unite the two people as one under one flag." Which one is it: a rumor or a fact, or you are changing the rumor into a fact of reality? Could you update your readers if your rumors changed into facts?

It is rumored in Tigray and southern Eritrea that in the recently held meeting of the Central Committee of TPLF, the front has decided to allow the Armed Forces of Tigray should be open to any person with Tigrigna heritage. This is a major departure from the front’s firm stand, that these are two people but since the recent declaration of peace by the two countries, there is a strong undercurrent movement in Eritrea and Tigrai to unite the two people as one under one flag.

TPLF has now a firm stand that any Tigrigna speaking Eritrean by right of birth and heritage should be allowed to serve in any capacity in the armed forces or the civilian life in the now defacto state of Tigrai.

The recent rush to dismantle the Eritrean community in Tigray by Dr. Abiy and PIA is believed to be a reaction to this new development and decision made by TPLF. It is believed that there are more than 100, 000 young Eritreans in Tigrai and the decision to allow the Eritreans to join the armed forces was discussed with known activists and community leaders that are tirelessly working to bring about the unity of these two people.

All of the generals are corrupted, selfish and they are living lavish life, hence why should they care about the plight of the Eritrean people. Even they betrayed their comrades who are languishing at era-iro notorious underground prison.

What Assena.com, does not realize is, these "Generals " are not the same old Generals. These ones are corrupted to the core and are completely useless as leaders. Getting someone who has been wetting his pants whenever he's called to the fascist president's office, to lead a struggle is a lack of vision and imagination.
They are not even worthy enemies to desire to kill them. One must have a problem if he wishes to kill a cadaver. Even worse, if he asks a cadaver to rise up and lead a popular rebellion. Assena.com is praying for a miracle that the cadavers of old EPLF Generals to rise from the dead and be heroes again.

Antico, what are your sources for this information? It looks like, you are either a TPLF insider or one of the opposition leaders.
Are Eritreans allowed in the rank and file of the TPLF army? Is there any restrictions to non Tigrigna Eritreans?

without ethnic fed. Assab or Massawa will not grow because everything they make money goes to issu, and leader also come from Assmara to run those two port city.. in the main time just look Djibouti port they have only 123km seacoast compering to Eritrea who have 3000km seacoast u earn zero dollar will Djibouti earn two billion dollars they would not have earn this billion if Djibouti would have been under Ethiopia and we dont have ethnic fed system.

America is ruled by fed system . the whole Western nation run by fed. system.. u can cal it any thing u want but fed system is the best solution... yes, the tplf did not implemented full fed system why because u have to give everyone small dose to become familiarized with fed system but if u give the full fed system like Russia we would have breaking apart ..today the oromo doesn't ask to break away but take way the fed system they will break away..

if u notice i did not say ethnic fed system.. because there is ethnic fed system in Ethiopia yes we call it ethnic fed system for luck of a better translation otherwise how on earth we have only 9 ethnic fed state when we have 84 ethnic groups .... beside Somalia all regional state r mix ethnic it doesn't belong to one ethnic groups ...in fact it is the best mix to avoid pure ethnic fed system designed by golden kid called Meles to encourage unity over division .. even the Parliament doesn't work on majority rule .. it work when groups of ethnic come together and vote as one


u like it or not this fed system going to united both Sudan, Kenya , Djibouti , Somalia and all eastern African nation u will be the last one to remain independent and poor ... the beautify of Ethiopian fed system it doesn't take away your Eritreans it doesn't take your language or culture ... if Sudan join the union they can join without giving up being Sudanese they will speak Arabic they will vote and elect their own governor... at state level they r totally an independent nation just like the old day but what link us is fed government where they will have seat based on their number like united state of America we will grow together then what would be the Eritrean choice to be later joiner .. the sad thing about late joiner is like Norther Korea and South Korea if two join the Northern citizen will be second class citizen because the south have the money the technology the knowhow how in hell they can compete with them hence they will be forced the new poor in new union .. that will be Eritrean faith

Dr. Debretsion’s call to the Eritrean armed forces to join in the struggle to remove the bully in Asmara is very canny and dangerous. Due to the inhuman ways the armed forces of Eritrea are being treated, it is a matter of time before the trickle of deserters changes in to flood. I don’t see the criminal in Asmara would’ve a way to wiggle out of the situation he finds himself in.
