Eden Uggume
Have you ever seen the US negotiates a border issue with one province of Canada...say Manitoba? Nope. Only with central Government of Canada. Thus, Eritrea will never negotiate with one small Kilil of the Greater Ethiopia. Find your Match, like Kilil Amara or Kilil Afar. Case closed.

beggar and dirty tigray is the least important kilil of Ethiopia.
It is not a sovereign country.
As a sovereign country Eritrea deals with Ethiopia as a sovereign nation.
Eritrea doesn't need peace with tigray, but with ethiopia.
tegarus are lawless people with shifta leaders who do not understand politics or foreign relationship.
So, the notion Eritrea needs to mend its relationship with an outlaw tiny region of another country is bu*llsh*it.
If tigray has any concern with Eritrea because it borders Eritrea, it should solve the problem it believes there is with Eritrea through its federal govt of ethiopia.
There is no and there will no talk with tiny region of Ethiopia aka tigray when it comes to Eritrea's foreign policies.
F**k tigray, its leadership a d its supposedly 'innocent' filthy tegarus who do not know who the freaking problem is.

Degnet wedi qosal, abaq mitra agame sherm*utta focus, fake priest, Muslim throats slasher fanatic Christian.
Now don't talk your jibberish which no one understands when you respond to my questions.
Just answer these simple questions.
1. Are you Ethiopian national?
2. Do you accept the EEBC verdict of the contested areas?
3. If you do, who is the one who is still refusing to abide by what it signed in advance?
Just answer those three questions in English we can understand.

Well, that is not going to happen, Eden. He might have many reasons not to show up in Mekele, but I believe here are a few of those reasons. First, as a head of an independent country, he expects to meet his counterpart, who happens to be Abiy. Second, as his recent interview revealed Isayes is not a fan of ethnic politics, but the TPLF guys are. He cannot be enthusiastic to discuss politics with people who worship the politics he despises. Third, Isayes supports the political change that is going on in Ethiopia, but the TPLF guys do not take a rest from trying to sabotage that change. Fourth, Isayes seemed to have confidence in the leadership of Abiy, but the TPLF politicos are not because Abiy is not dancing to the drum they are beating.
I believe he has many more reasons not to come to Mekele than I mentioned. But even those I mentioned make it almost impossible for him to make that trip.

Re: If President Isayas wants real peace, he should come via Mekelle, Tigray
I recollect the announcement from the then foreign minister Seyoum Mesfin right after the Permanent Court of Arbitration passed its verdict on the border issue in 2002. I remember him saying his government will abide by the decision of the court. The next day or he retracted that conclusion. First place, it should not have been a war if not for two bullies that dislike each other with passion. More than 100,000 young people had perished in the senseless fracas. There should not be any repeat of such stupidity. You don't go in front of an arbitrator if you gonna refuse to accept the decision entirely. The court has told you to cough up other's territory you are holding and you are also entitled with what the court rewarded you. If there are wrinkles in the decision, any of that should not be resolved with the barrels of a gun. I don't think the upright and noble of Tigray will be able to arrive at sensible conclusions on the matter as long as these deacons of Marxism/Leninism/Maoism are riding on their backs. These demons(They may not be more than 10 of them) have to go first and so the entire hood can breathe easier. They have turned out to be nothing but menace to society, Kevin 'O' Dogs of 'North Central'!!!! Out of my sight!!!!

Eden,
Only respective central governments can negotiate boundary lines. Tigray is a rebellious region, part of Ethiopia. Abiy will have to strangle the rebelious state using either armed forces attack on the TPLF leadership or economic deprivation of the rebelious state. The next five years, while Ethiopian and Eritrean armed forces are expected to grow yet the Tigrayan army will shrink. Its armaments will be obsolete . All Isayas has to do is, sit pretty and watch. As far as the UN is concerned, Badme is Eritrean. Ethiopia agrees too.

Dear Eden: Eritrea could talk directly to Tigraiy about peace if Tigraiy is not part of Etiyopiya
Ms. Maaza Hassen has suggested that it would be best for Etiyopiya if Eritrea, first, makes peace with TPLF's Tigraiy before it "jumps over" Tigraiy and come to central Etiyopiya. Her proposal is not reasonable unless Tigraiy is an independent sovereign country, separate from Etiyopiya. She did not justify the legitimacy of her suggestion: on what ground is Eritrea's making peace with TPLF, first, appropriate, in making peace with Etiyopiya? Isn't Tigraiy part of Etiyopiya? Isn't Prime Minister Abiy AHmed Ali representative of Etiyopiya, including Tigraiy? Is she implying that PM Abiy has abdicated his position as the Chief Executive Officer of the whole Nation-State of Etiyopiya? Ms. Maaza lost her proper direction towards the main goal (peace between sovereign Eritrea and sovereign Etiyopiya that includes its Tigraiy region) in the fog of petty political calculations (partisanship, "my enemy's enemy is my friend", etc.). She ultimately failed to justify her proposal on grounds of law of sovereign nations or diplomatic protocol.
Currently, Etiyopiya's Tigraiy and Aafar killels border Eritrea. Their borderlines with Eritrea are also the borderlines between Etiyopiya and Eritrea. If Eritrea wants real peace with Etiyopiya, and it does, it has to talk to sovereign Etiyopiya. Sovereign power making peace with another sovereign power is the appropriate internationally accepted protocol. The Etiyopiyan side could be represented by Etiyopiyans, formally delegated by the central government. Etiyopiya's delegates could be represented by the Federal Government, Tigraiy killel's delegates, Aafar killel's delegates, other delegates, or a combination of these. Eritrea would also officially delegate its legal or diplomatic representatives. Each country should do so through its internal official procedures. If Tigraiy is, however, an independent sovereign nation, Eritrea may not need to go to Addis Ababa to finalize the border demarcation. I want her to review her opinion.

Eden the filthy agame hoe, it is not degnet's welbeings which is in your mind. You just brought this old story to beg the Eritrean to open the borders.
Eritrea is at peace with your country Ethiopia. Dirty tigray is the LEAST IMPORTANT KILIL OF ETHIOPIA. Remember?
Since you believe there is no peace, why don't you force your ungrateful, shifta woyane to beg, beg, beg, beg......Eritrea to visit Eritrea for peace meetings and 'forgivness' and see where the chips may fall?
Eritrea is a sovereing nation and as such have all the right to visit Ethiopian regions who are in line with ethio foreign policies or part of the ethiopian govt.

Hmm....
eden,
What kind of dimwitted cave dwelling bat can you be when you try to subordinate one of the most experienced and long ruling head of State to that of a small backward locality moaning day and night from the wounds inflicted by the mosquito bites.

What is your business in Ethiopia's affair. I know most Eritreans have no idea about Eritrea today they just support and are here in ER to affect Ethiopians. Why don't you guys mind your own business. ER, make up your mind you either kill Ethiopia or get rid of Shabos. Yes, there is no such thing as free speech, they can be on their Eritrean sites because it is boring.
