Assab needs to be with its rightful owner, with which all agree in here.

A possible difference is on the way on how to restore it, optimally and cost efficiently.

My second proposal is the restoration of the lost Afar people's territorial integrity and unity. Afar has deserved, like anybody else, to have one common homeland, fragmentation of the majestic Afar people should end, ASAP. And as everybody agrees on this too, Afar is Ethiopian. The root of Ethiopia, the cradle of humanity, the gateway of Ethiopia to the outside world.

Restoring Afar's unified homeland should be actively and efficiently sought and realized. The colonizers of Afar people should be kicked out from anywhere of their territories.

Shabo's Eritrea has nothing in common with Afar homeland, it is a pure occupation of their territory by force. The emancipation of the Afar people is also the restoration of Ethiopia's pride at the same time.

We should all support the Emancipation of the Afar people! End the Fragmentation of the Afar People, NOW!

Third possible way is to actively support the aspiration of the Eritrean people for freedom and true self-determination, after removing the dictatorial rule of Isayas Afeworki from office. Here it should be done on the basis of give and take, they should agree to give us back our Assab and we should support them achieve their deserved freedom and dignity in their own homeland, where they can decide on their future on their own free will. That future free will could also lead to a harmonious and peaceful reintegration with the mother land Ethiopia, with different possibility of doing it.

They can be federated or confederated with the mother land, Eritrea without Ethiopia is of no value, objectively looking at it.

You can also add your own more viable means of restoring our Assab.

____If there were peaceful way of restoration of Assab that would be the most ideal. In my opinion, the possibility of finding peaceful solution is close to Zero. Using the Biblical language, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle" than trying to restore Assab back to its motherland Ethiopia through a peaceful way. If such a means exists, I would prefer it. The language of peace is easy to communicate with a civilized party, not to a nomadic uncivilized rebel such as Shabia. It is always rational to first opt for a more cost effective way, if that is exhausted then we have to contemplate about all options, ALL OPTIONS!

You have to drop about your Faandoo and Sefer interest, here it is about national glory.

Like we have shown and succeeded in declaring we shouldn't inherit the culture of wheat aid from others to our children, we have to also declare "we shouldn't inherit the humiliation of being called a nation in "Geographic Prison"", what it essentially means to be called "land-locked", to our children. It simply doesn't fit in our statue of Mother of African Freedom. Ethiopia, as a nation that sustained its freedom and upheld the principle of equality of the whole human race, shouldn't also be referred as a "land-locked" nation. It was a clear revenge to their humiliation that they suffered in the hands of Ethiopian patriots of many generations. Now it is our time to restore our undiminished glory of all times.

Let the movement to restore Ethiopian Assab commence and make the necessary planing preparation tasks, like establishing a major fund to support the logistical need of this grand national agenda of restoring our national pride and glory.

Movement for Restoration of Ethiopian Assab (MREA) should be commenced and start to make all the needed preparations at all levels, fund has to be established, it will not cost us more than our GERD. If it costs more, then let it be! I think we can afford it when we understand what is at stake here.

If needed long range missiles can also be developed or bought sufficiently. MREA should be a nation wide movement and there should be an international chapter to help contribute the needed money to the fund and spearhead the necessary scientific and legal preparations and tasks. The youth should be trained, in all sectors of endeavors, including in military high tech skills.

MREA should establish a commission that is going to make the needed preparations for the mission of restoring Ethiopian Assab and Ethiopia's past glory.
