- Andargachew Tsige openly expressed about a year ago that he was getting TPLF Central Committee( CC) and TDF classified information on regular basis by the mole within TPLF CC members. He used to post such information on a regular basis on his social media account.

- He also recently mentioned on his interview with Megos Teshome ( የሃሳብ ገበታ) that those TPLF CC members who voted for Getachew Reda to be President were planning to disintegrate TPLF but Abiy did not give them the required support .


- Conclusion : It is very clear that TPLF is infested by opportunist & power hungry moles who have been planted by enemies of TPLF

- The way forward : Clean TPLF from those moles but keep Getachew Reda as part of CC with warning to keep him as President of the Temporary Administration

To describe it as a “ mole” is misleading. A mole implies usually just a one “ spy” within the party who is feeding the TPLF’s internal secrets to the “enemy.” What was happening is fundamentally different. Within TPLF a faction had been created. The TPLF’s agenda of fifty years ago might have been still the Gospel for the oldies, who are counting their remaining life on earth in days. They are few in number who are unable to comprehend the new world unfolding in front of their eyes. There are new politicians who might not share the old dogma as the way to go forward. They are not moles ; they are factions who entertain different political views. If TPLF to exist as a party, the new faction should prevail. The oldies should graciously bow out of politics for the good of Tigrieans in particular, and Ethiopians in general.

“Treason” might not be the right word. As far as I know Tigray is not a country. Treason is sabotaging the interest of a country. When there is no country, there is no government that punishes anyone for treason.
It is wise to assume the time that TPLF calls “ ግምገማ”
is practically over. The contradiction within TPLF is no longer resolved by calling that tiresome meeting. ግምገማ is the marginalization of those who have upheld different views, usually views condemned by the party leaders.
The faction might be determined to disprove TPLF is another name for the people of Tigray fallacy. To make that point, they might use leaks as a means.
I have no problem with that.
