Issaias Afeworki, the only president Eritreans know in their life, and the longest serving leader in the Horn and east Africa, is now ready to transfer power to a new generation.
To accomplish this peaceful transfer of power, Issaias has devised a scheme. First, there will be two years of interlude where the younger generation will learn on how to use and implement the ropes of power. In this period, the leader will be either Ato Osman Salih, the current Foreign Minster or ato Yemane Gebreab, the presidential adviser.
After two years, power will be transferred to a younger generation of Eritreans, led by Prince Abraham Issaias Afeworki, who has the true Royal blood, from the House of Tembien, Tigray, a great great great grandson of Ras Hagos, a brother of Emperor Yohanes IV.
As a great supporter of monarchical rule, I am very glad that the great Bahre-negasians who had always been the core of our Abyssinian civilization will be back to royal way of life. It is sad, our Ethiopian cousins killed their own royal family in 1975.
