Boy,
The mass surrender of Ethiopian forces is mainly due to the fact that these forces have either no clue about what they're fighting for, or they're simply not convinced with what they're fighting for, and in both cases they've zero moral for fighting. Therefore, they've the propensity of surrendering on the first gunshot to spare their own fuc'king arses.
