Djibouti did not say it will not allow Ethio navy there. Djibu said they are scared Ethiopia leaving them and going over to SLR which perfectly rational. Ethio finances 90% of Djibu life including sending clean water, Chat and electricity.

It's quite the opposite. It's rather Djibouti that's handling virtually all of Ethiopia's imports and exports, as over 95% of Ethiopia's total trade is going through Djibouti's port.

In addition, FYI, Djibouti doesn't get anything from Ethiopia free of charge. Djibouti pays for whatever it buys from Ethiopia, so you could feed your kids that are eating from the garbage at dump sites.

What has Ethiopia to offer Eritrea apart from ethnic strife, division, intolerance among peoples and non-stopping civil war. We may still be struggling economically but we have precious peace, harmony and unity in Eritrea that you cannot buy with billions or trillions of bucks.
Like it or not, Ethiopia is a failed state. Even after Abiy is gone it won't stand tall as a country and people . It is too late too much water has gone under the bridge. Not that I wish Ethiopia ill but that is the reality.
Any future Eritrean leader should keep well away from mama Ethiopia. Our two ports can work as hubs for international transhipment. We just need investment and right policy for this to materialise.

Djibouti is NOT fool, Somalia and Eritrea are no business of her. Ethiopia is her lifeline. We know in the end Djibouti will commit suicide, she does whatever tells her to do - that helps her preserve her autonomy as well as eat the pie.
