Say Hi To our Next President Abraham Issayas Afwerki.

Post by kerenite » 26 Mar 2024, 16:03

Rumor has it that our beloved president wedi afom is grooming his son Abraham to replace him.

Why not??? Zinegese nigusna zibereQe tseHayna.

It is romadan and in romadan we talk jokes. Perhaps, I shared below story before but let me repeat it.

In an Eritrean small town there was an old man whose behavior was peculiar. He did have an awkward hobby hence when one in the town is deceased and buried, he goes at midnight o the graveyard and digs out the corpse of the dead from the hole and places it near it.

The people of the town were aware of his deed and as such they were visiting the graveyard the day after and as is expected, they were finding the corpse outside the hole and they were reburying it. Of course cursing him and wishing him all the worst.

Few years later the old man passed away, all the citizens were celebrating. One said, let's celebrate and another I told you so, God loves us and he answered our prayers. Another said at long last what for a relief, let's open champagnes.

Little did they know that the old man has a son who has inherited the hobby of his father but in worse way.

For instance when someone is dead and buried, the son of the old man goes in midnight to the graveyard and digs out the corpse from the hall, carries it and walks all the way to the house of the deceased and places the corpse at their door front. When the family members wake up in the morning and find the corpse at their doorstep, they loudly say bisemeab weweld mefes Qudus and they gather to rebury their loved one.

While carrying the corpse and on their way to the cemetery they say (confused)

May God bless the soul of his father. His father was an angel and a good person compared to him. He was just digging out the corpse and placing it near the hole and not carrying it all the way and placing it at our front gate.

Finally,

Eritreans are scared, they say in future, they don't want to say issayas was an angel compared to his son abraham. Or they may add Issayas was harmless, he was just kicking our asz but his son abraham is shooting us.

Hey! It is derdesha romadania... Ask any Arab whom you know what deredesha romadania meansπŸ˜„

The joke is really funny.

To me, if he takes the "throne" while Isaias is still alive, he would just be at the front and Isaias would continue to run the country as a back seat driver.

After Isais dies, as he'll die one day like everyone, the son won't be able to play his father, leave alone playing harsher, as the West would bring him down in no time, knowing that he's not Isaias. To avoid this, he would rather open up the country, display certain aspects of democracy, grant pardon and clemency to all political prisoners and many others, establish a national reconciliation to address and end political issues and crisis within Eritreans, attract Eritrean diaspora to the country, so Kerenite would be able to see his house in Keren and renovate it before it becomes a ruin, and improve relations with the West, even though there's nothing to gain from them, the fuc'kers, etc.
