Private is just newly enlisted soldiers.
Private First Class. soldiers who served two or three years.
there are 7 other steps.
then on Ethiopia military structure, it misses the seven steps then it jumps to

and in Ethiopia's case Filed marshal. lol
so, the private and first class private directly takes orders from colonels and generals. there are no experienced middle line officers. that is the reason why Ethiopian army is known to be captured in masses.

Abiy succumbed to the threats and ordered their withdrawal.

The ENDF forces withdrawing from Tigray got caught with their guards down when TPLF terrorists surrounded them, forcing their surrender.

Abiy is to blame for being a spineless coward who needlessly put the ENDF in harm's way.

I highly doubt there were any Eritrean POWs, as they relied heavily on artillery, mortar and tanks to annihilate the TPLF terrorist group.

This is quite serious, as lieutenants, sergeants, majors, company sergeant majors, regimental sergeant majors, have no roles to play, while they're the backbone of any army!


That surrender must be the largest number of soldiers to have ever surrendered in the world history, including during the First World War.

What is funnier is that such a massive number of soldiers have surrendered to a bunch of militia whose sole weapon is a simple AK47 and nothing else! This is really a joke.
