I truly believe that, the former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill deserves to have the main avenue in Addis Ababa named after him for his courage and determination to liberate Ethiopia and grant the country its independence in 1941. He was a great man.

We are here to honor the sacrifices made for the liberation of Ethiopia that culminated in its April 5, 1941 hard won independence.

Why are the TPLF cadres like Misraq/almaze and Abere so angry to see Ethiopia's independence being honored, respected and celebrated?
Could it be because they had failed to achieve their Chigray's independence?
