The fact Abiy preferred not to talk about Eritrea shows the deep tensions between the Ethiopian government and Isaias government that could easily escalate to another ugly war. It looks Abiy plans to prepare the ground on international, regional and domestic level prior to disclosing new developments with Eritrea.
