Thirteen opposition law makers of the Amhara National Movement (NAMA) urged the federal government of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to stop “waging an undeclared war” against the northern federal Amhara state, DW reported. In a statement, the lawmakers accused the federal government of a waging war on the Amhara people under the guise of a “law enforcement campaign” by the Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF), to disarm the regional special force and the Fano militia that were on the side of the Prime Minister’s government during the war with the Tigrayan forces, the report said. The federal government is trying to rule the Amhara region by deploying the ENDF despite the regional government not asking for help, the report quoted the statement. According to the country’s constitution, federal regions can ask for federal government intervention, for instance, against serious breakdown of law and order.

How come? Haven't you been saying for long that NAMA is a traitor fake organization which needs to be wiped out, even though according to some news they were in the forefront of the battles at a time when you were sleeping and snoring and captured lots of tplf cars and guns empty hand.
