He has succeeded to implant and inculcate in the minds of his worshippers among the Eritrean population that his project is not fullfilled yet due to malevolent forces such as the TPLF and the US, to cover his incompetence and failures and, most of all, to extend his ruthless and terrorising dictatorship in Eritrea.

Esu has destroyed the Agame Dream of Abay Tigray. He has caged and Tamed Agames! We have a saying in Eritrea that applies to you Agameman (Sumaliman) "ስዑር እንታይ የውጽእ፡ ዓፍራ", "The defeated can only drool!" That is all you are doing here, foaming at the mouth!

He has succeeded to control and monitor every aspect of life in Eritrea, keep the population under surveillance, and institute an atmosphere of fear and suspicion of being informers between relatives, friends, and neighbours to make sure nothing pollical is ever said.

He has succeeded to make the national service indefinite to prevent the youth from organising itself against him and overthrowing him, to safeguard and extend his ruthless dictatorship.

AgameMan (Sumaliman)

As a low IQ Agame, you never seem to have understood that 1,000,000 Agames have perished in the most horrible way. That tens of thousands of Agames are now languishing in the Yemen is nothing to you. That millions of Agames are starving seems like a happy matter to you. That Agameland is in shambles is fun for you. It is incredible to what length Agames go to ignore their horrendous situation. Eritrea on the other hand has destroyed its enemies. That was, is, and will be the point of SAWA, To be an iron-shield of protection of the nation. It has succeeded and is in fact one of the greatest achievements of Esu.

He has succeeded to bring religious leaders and churches under his control by appointment to make sure they serve his ruthless policy of divide and rule. Religious leaders with integrity are confined to their residences till they die, like the late Father Antonios, who protested against the arrest of priests.

He has succeeded to make Eritrea the worst jailer of journalists in sub-Saharan Africa, with a significant number of journalists still behind bars. In 2019, more than 100 leading African journalists, scholars, and rights activists wrote an open letter to him personally, asking to visit long-imprisoned journalists and activists; he rejected their request outright.

He has succeeded to deny burial rights for Eritreans who die in exile or in prison if they've failed to be subservient to him while still alive.

For instance, the popular Eritrean Christian leader and founder of Meserete Kristos Church, Pastor Tesfay Seyoum, who got detained in the overcrowded and unsanitary maximum security Mai Serwa prison, near Asmara, for ten years, who had suffered a brain haemorrhage, was denied to be buried in his home town.

Despite the local traditional norms, which require a body to be buried as close to the time of death as possible, the pastor’s remains laid unburied for 13 days, and this had occasioned tremendous distress to his loved ones and the congregation!

This was last April 2023, in case you thought this was long ago and the demon in Asmara might have improved. Nope, an evil dies evil and Afwerki is not an exception.

He has succeeded to make sure Eritrea continue to have one of the worst religious freedom records in the world, being one of the world's worst religious freedom environments. Believers in Eritrea continue to suffer extreme persecution, making it one of the hardest places in the world to follow Jesus and other religious beliefs, including Islam.

As latest as last April 2023, the police arrested 103 Christians, mainly students, gathered to sing and record video clips for social media in Asmara. They were taken straight to Mai Serwa prison, notorious for its overcrowding, torture and other forms of mistreatment of inmates (many of whom are political prisoners), including beatings, starvation, and denial of medical care.

This latest arrest puts the number of Christian prisoners detained indefinitely without trial in Eritrea to more than 500.

Release International, which is a Christian ministry working through local church partners in around 30 countries across the world, helping persecuted Christians, has described Eritrea as one giant prison!

He has succeeded to systematically revoke the citizenship of any Eritrean who objects to the forced military service by a presidential decree that dates October 25, 1994.

Jehovah’s Witnesses who objected to the forced military conscription due to their faith are imprisoned, tortured, and harassed in an effort to force them to renounce their faith. Many of them got imprisoned for their faith for between 5 and 26 years each without trial or formal charges.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are incarcerated indefinitely, with no hope of release until they die or are near death. Many of them, including Habtemichael Tesfamariam, aged 76, Habtemichael Mekonen, agaed 77, Misghina Gebretinsae, aged 62, Yohannes Haile, aged 68, died as a result of the extreme heat they had experienced in a punishment area described as the “underground” in the Meitir Prison Camp and the Mai Serwa Prison.

Many elderly Jehovah’s Witnesses have died after their release from prison because of the harsh conditions they had experienced while detained.

He has succeeded to turn Eritrea into a giant prison due to mass detention, torture, and other forms of mistreatment of inmates, including beatings, starvation, and denial of medical, of political opponents, journalists, and thousands of Christians, mostly from small evangelical groups.

Shipping containers in the desert serve as jails, while other secret detention centres are located underground. Guards use torture techniques such as "the helicopter", where a prisoner's hands and feet are tied behind the back, with the victim left face down, often in the hot sun.

Detainees are jammed into Adi Abeyito prison, Mai Serwa Maximum Prison, and Mai Serwa Asmera Flowers Detention Camp, in the most inhumane condition one can imagine, which has disastrous consequences on their mental and physical health. They're rarely allowed to bathe or wash their clothes, and have no personal hygiene products like soap. Shoes and slippers are strictly prohibited to prevent detainees from jumping over barbed wire fencing.

Many of the detainess contract infectious diseases because of the overcrowded and unsanitary conditions they are being held in.

For instance, at the Mai Serwa Asmera Flowers Detention Camp, which is in reality a forced labour camp where Jehovah’s Witnesses and other detainees are forced to work on flower farms, there are no toilets for detainees. All 700 of them, both men and women, relieve themselves out in the open.

The vast majority of the detainees have never been formally charged or brought to court and do not know when, or if, their detention will end!

He has succeeded to force detainees to choose between dying and paying for their medication, infirmaries within prisons and detention camps that are already lacking even the most basic medical equipment such as thermometers!

At Ala prison, detainees had to raise money to buy a thermometer and a blood pressure monitor that detained doctors use to help the sick monitor some of their conditions!

Testimonies received by Amnesty International reveal that detainees in all four detention facilities suffer a wide range of serious ailments including mental illnesses, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, anemia, diarrhea, asthma, tuberculosis, eye and ear infections, and gastro-intestinal infections!

Detainees are held in spaces ranging from 2x2m cells for solitary confinement at the Mai Serwa Maximum prison, to shipping containers holding more than 20 detainees, and halls measuring up to 10x20m. Detainees generally take turns to sleep on bare floors because beds or mattresses are not allowed!

The Eritrean authorities must free all prisoners of conscience and consider releasing children, pre-trial detainees and those who may be more vulnerable to COVID-19, including the sick and older people.

Afwerki has also been arresting Muslims, including Haji Musa Mohamed Nur, the highly-respected nonagenarian Honorary President of Al Diaa Islamic School in Asmara, who died in custody at age 93, which prompted mass arrests of Muslims after protests took place around the burial of Haji Musa Mohamed Nur.

This ruthless paranoid dictator cracks down on anyone who might have a different view. He's a bit careful about Muslims, though, as he knows he would never win against Muslim fighters like Al Shabab, Al Qaeda, etc.

He has succeeded to be become the liberator who turned into a ruthless oppressor.

Not only has he pushed Eritrea into isolation, leading to two-thirds of the country living below the poverty line, but also, he has created a system whereby there is no room for dissent, even severely penalizing any ministers who tries to stand up to him or dares to criticise his repressive regime and brutal dictatorship.

A group of ministers known as the G-15 were all arrested and haven't been seen since, as they've been in jail since or have died in jail. Ministers who have managed to escape abroad have never been able to go back to their home country.

Afwerki led Eritrea’s freedom struggle, but turned his country into a prison camp!

Every month almost 4,000 Eritreans flee to escape oppression, according to a United Nations special rapporteur.

Opponents of the government face immediate imprisonment and torture, often in underground jails in remote areas, where they're stuffed into metal shipping containers where the heat is unbearable, and given little food or water. The right to trial does not exist, and those convicted have no recourse to appeal.

Those who are not in jail and working for the state, which is in reality a prison state, earn an average monthly salary of 500 nakfa (about $15 at the black market rate), no wonder semi-slavery Chinese factories are getting attracted to move their factories to Eritrea before the country gets completely emptied of its working age population.
